... Y yo que creí que el diseño de [Timoteo](https://hive.blog/hive-127911/@inici-arte/amigurumi-112-timoteo-parte-2) era el más complicado, hasta que llegó Zayu el Jaguar.
Creo que nuestros antepasados estaban más conectados con la naturaleza. Ellos respetaban las habilidades de los seres vivos. Y me alegra que en la actualidad, parte de eso se siga manteniendo. Por ejemplo, el jaguar. ¿Quién no quire ser como el Jaguar?, ¿Como el Águila?, ¿Cóndor?, etc. Sé que este animal es muy importante y es allí donde la valla estuvo alta.

Cuando hice este diseño, me alegré un montón porque la distribución de las manchitas encajaban y la expresión del rostro salió como quería. Luego le coloqué las orejas y le quedaba chévre.

Para esto, ya tenía tejido el cuerpo. Y cuando le coloqué, le quedaba pequeño... Estaba entre reducir el tamaño a la cabeza o aumentar el tamaño del cuerpo. Ahora que lo pienso, esto no me pasa seguido. Generalmente al momento de diseñar acierto en los tamaños. Creo que debe ser porque esta vez la cabeza tiene otro tipo de estructura.

Decidí volver a diseñar ambos, la cabeza y el cuerpo. En la imagen de arriba muestro los intentos de boquitas en medio camino, jaja. Al momento de cerrar la cabeza, aproveché cambiarle la distribución de las manchitas. Supuestamente lo hice menos entretenido.

Cada diseño me llevó un tiempo, en este caso fueron semanas, las cuales estuvieron llenas de aprehendizaje y algo loquitas. Me parece que acerté cuando creí que Zayu sería el más entretenido de las 3 mascotas de este mundial.

Sabiendo eso tomé el reto de sacar del papel a Zayu y diseñar su muñeco tejido. Esto lo hice para que los niños (también los de corazón, jaja) tengan en la mano este personaje tan importante en la cultura de México.
>Knowing that, I took on the challenge of bringing Zayu to life and designing her crocheted toy. I did this so that children (including those at heart, jaja) can hold this character, who is so important to Mexican culture in their hands.
En Sudamérica también es importante el Jaguar. Su presencia, quiere decir algo... ya sea que hay escasez de alimentos, agua, envenenamientos, incendios, desborde de ríos... Solo sé que para vivir en la Amazonía hay que ser valientes como el Jaguar. Y esto aplica también para la vida.
>The jaguar is also important in South America. Their presence means something... whether it's a shortage of food or water, poisonings, fires, or flooding... All I know is that to live in the Amazon, you have to be as brave as a jaguar. The same goes for life.
