Cuando la creatividad no alcanza..../When creativity isn't enough... [ES/EN]

Hola amigos de #Liketu, hoy les hablaré de algo que me viene sucediendo hace meses( aunque ya ni recuerdo bien cuanto tiempo exactamente jj).
Desde hace un bueeeeen tiempo 🤭, en mi pueblo cuando se va la electricidad se pierde la cobertura telefónica ( fija y móvil) que esto es "normal" en toda Cuba jjj , pero buenooo, yo les hablaré de mi experiencia 😌.
Y como aquí estamos más tiempo sin corriente que con ella jjj por lógica casi nunca tenemos conexión ( motivo por el cuál participo menos en esta plataforma 🥹).
Por estos motivos y teniendo en cuenta que el cubano es inventor por naturaleza jj siempre buscamos alternativas para vencer las adversidades y si no podemos generar ni robar electricidad jjj por lo menos tratamos de coger señal por algún lugar; de ahí surgen unas famosas "antenas" hechas de aluminio que son el "boom" en los revolicos de compra y venta de todo el país ( imanes para truenos 🤣🤣) , pero el cubano inventa jj.
En mi casa la opción de la "antenita" no es viable porque ya le cayó un trueno a la de mi vecina😨y mi papá dijo que no jjj, pero para mi suerte en un poblado cercano al mío pusieron paneles solares en el punto de ETECSA y gracias a la naturaleza a pesar de estar separados por 10 u 11 km aproximadamente llega señal a las cercanías de mi casa.
En mi casa no tengo señal para recibir nada, pero más de 30 metros ( en el estadio deportivo si, por lo que se ha convertido en la zona WIFI de mi pueblo jjj).
Pero cuando la creatividad no alcanza para hacer todas estas cosas para poder hacer una llamada, mandar un sms o navegar en Internet, tenemos otra opción jjj......
Subirme en el techo de la casa de mi vecina😅....si, como lo leen, ayer no tenía tiempo se ir al estadio a llamar para saber si la electricidad no llegaba por problemas de generación o por algún cable o poste caído y me fui para la casa de mi vecina de al lado que en su techo se puede llamar y mandar sms😌😁.
Así que lista y dispuesta me fui..., me subí en el techo y aproveché para hacerle algunas fotos y enseñarles donde es capaz de subirse un cubano para poder realizar una llamada o mandar un mensaje...a nosotros no nos para nadie 🤣🤣🤣...

Hello #Liketu friends! Today I’m going to talk about something that’s been happening to me for months (though I honestly can't remember exactly how long anymore, haha).
For a loooong time now 🤭, whenever the power goes out in my town, we lose phone service (both landline and mobile)—which is considered "normal" all over Cuba, haha—but anyway, I’ll tell you about my own experience 😌.
And since we spend more time without power than with it here, haha, logically we almost never have a connection (which is why I participate less on this platform 🥹).
For these reasons—and keeping in mind that Cubans are natural-born tinkerers, haha—we always look for ways to overcome adversity. If we can't generate or steal electricity, haha, we at least try to catch a signal somewhere. That’s where those famous aluminum "antennas" come from; they’re all the "rage" in buy-and-sell groups across the country (basically lightning magnets 🤣🤣), but hey, Cubans love to improvise, haha.
At my house, the "little antenna" option isn't viable because lightning already struck my neighbor's antenna 😨 and my dad put his foot down, haha. But luckily for me, a nearby town installed solar panels at the local ETECSA station, and—thanks to the way the land lies—the signal actually reaches the area near my house, even though we're about 10 or 11 km apart.
I don't get a signal inside my house, but just over 30 meters away—at the sports stadium—I do; that’s why it’s become the unofficial Wi-Fi zone for my town, haha.
But when creativity isn't enough to manage all the things needed just to make a call, send a text, or browse the internet, we have another option...
Climbing onto my neighbor's roof 😅... yes, you read that right. Yesterday, I didn't have time to go to the stadium—where I usually go to make calls and check if the power outage was due to generation issues or a downed cable or pole—so I went to my next-door neighbor's house instead, since you can actually make calls and send texts from her roof 😌😁.
So, all set and ready to go... I climbed up onto the roof and took the opportunity to snap a few photos to show you the lengths a Cuban will go to just to make a call or send a message... nothing stops us 🤣🤣🤣...
