Y quién te dijo que era cierto si la noche no me han dicho nada ni siquiera la luna que siempre conversa conmigo los astros y las estrellas.
Eso paraece más un rumor que una verdad que anfda de boca en boca sin saber quién lo dijo y cómo lo dijo.
No es que el reflejo de la luna me sea indioferente pero el lago somnoliento no se ha enterado de tal desatino decir que la noche quería suicidarse porque el sol le apresuraba.
Aun era de noche y el sol quiso atreverse a degollar la noche y eso nunca ocurrirá.

The night hasn't told me anything, not even the moon, who always converses with me, the planets and the stars.
It seems more like a rumor than a truth, passed from mouth to mouth without knowing who said it and how they said it.
It's not that the moon's reflection is indifferent to me, but the sleepy lake hasn't heard such nonsense, to say that the night wanted to commit suicide because the sun was hurrying it.
