Hello, Sketchbook friends! Today I want to share my latest digital fanart with you. This time, I decided to illustrate a beautiful little deer set within a magical atmosphere. The central concept of the piece plays with a dark background and bright colors—a combination that has always fascinated me. Ever since I started creating digital art, I’ve enjoyed working on dark canvases; I feel that the light elements take on a unique life and intensity that are hard to achieve against light backgrounds.
For this little deer, I used digital brushes that mimic the glow of neon, along with soft textures for the fur. My main goal was to create a high-impact visual contrast, making the animal's silhouette appear to radiate its own light amidst the dimness. I spent hours refining the details of the eyes and antlers, applying vibrant hues like electric blue and violet to lend a mystical, fantastical touch. This process was a wonderful challenge in terms of lighting and color palette selection. I enjoyed every layer and every stroke that went into this canvas. >¡Hola, amigos de Sketchbook! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi más reciente fanart digital. En esta ocasión, decidà ilustrar un hermoso venadito envuelto en una atmósfera mágica. El concepto central de la obra juega con un fondo oscuro y colores brillantes, una combinación que siempre me ha fascinado. Desde que empecé en el arte digital, siempre me ha gustado hacer dibujos sobre lienzos oscuros, ya que siento que las luces cobran una vida e intensidad únicas que son difÃciles de lograr en fondos claros.
>Para este venadito, utilicé pinceles digitales que emulan el brillo del neón y texturas suaves para el pelaje. Mi objetivo principal era crear un contraste de alto impacto visual, haciendo que la silueta del animal pareciera irradiar su propia luz en medio de la penumbra. Dediqué varias horas a perfeccionar los detalles de los ojos y los cuernos, aplicando tonos vibrantes como el azul eléctrico y el violeta para darle un toque mÃstico y fantástico.Este proceso fue un hermoso reto de iluminación y selección de paleta de colores. Disfruté cada capa y cada trazo invertido en este lienzo.
