FPL Report [Game week 1]

To have a full experience of the 26/27 season in all the leagues I'm engaging in, and the one or two activities I'm partaking in, I've decided to be making reports of my progress at the end of a game week and, most importantly, whenever I have the time and strength to do so.
In the Premier League, Game Week 1 hasn't ended, but I just feel like making this report, knowing that it wouldn't even get any better with the very low scores I have gotten from all the matches played so far this game week, even though there's just one game remaining to go.
As it stands, I have just 19 points. That's very poor, and I hope to bounce back during the subsequent weeks. Most of the players I selected underperformed. The most shocking decision was how I picked Gyökeres and he wasn't played. That was my fault because I could have checked properly to see if he was in good form before selecting him.
I'm currently hoping that Pedro at Chelsea will do wonders today as Fulham take on Chelsea. Funny enough, a lot of people on the leaderboard have him in their team, but it'll still help me a lot to climb up a bit if he performs very well.
I'm currently sitting second to last on the leaderboard. Such hard luck.
