So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “IT’S ALL FAKE”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “GOING VIRAL”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us their thoughts on the lengths that creators are willing to go just to get a viral moment. Going viral can be the defining moment that changes a creator’s life and sets them up for the rest of their lives, which is why many of them keep going for it.
But then, when one considers the lengths they have to go to get it, is it really worth it? Are the risks people take to get viral really worth the possible benefits of getting viral? We got to see what people thought about this topic, and it was an enlightening one, indeed.

“In the world today, a lot of people have learned to use bots to make things seem more than they are. From fake followers to fake streams and likes, people would do anything to seem like they're more than they actually are. But then, is this practice hurting anyone? Should it be criminalised, especially when all it does is just make people believe a person has more reach than they do? How can such an act affect society in the grand scheme of things?”
