Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 225 Edition 03 of our Weekly Featured Content.

So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week, which is “SCHOOL MONITOR”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us their thoughts on people taking sick days off work just so they can take care of their mental health. This is a very important aspect of our health because if our mental health comes into question, it could affect everything else we do.
We got to see that there will be various ways people will try to take advantage of such a system, even to the point of pretending just to get free days off. However, should that be enough to say that it’s all a bad idea? This was an enlightening topic, indeed.

This author told us that, unlike physical health, mental health can’t easily be deduced when things are not alright. And if people are allowed to take days off for mental health, they will be sure to abuse it. But then, there need to be measures in place to ensure that everything is fair for both the employees and the employers.

“Should a school be allowed to monitor the social media posts of its staff and students? Know that this could give them an insight into the kind of teachers they have or what is going on in the minds of their students, and maybe factor in ways to help them better. But then, won't this be a gross breach of privacy? After all, the internet is outside the school's jurisdiction; should they have a say in what their teachers or students post?”
