A few days ago, I realized that the “Exclusive Store” in the game has some incredible cards just waiting for players to buy them. I honestly hadn’t noticed that the cards are updated so frequently—just a few weeks ago I’d seen different ones, and now there are new ones already. But more than that, I can see that the cards are really powerful. However, this is just my first impression, so as I continue writing this post, we’ll see if this is true or not. I’ll also explain how VOUCHERS work, since new users probably have no idea how they function.

This information is very important because, for those who don’t know how to get or earn the VOUCHER, in this post I’ll explain everything. I’ll cover a lot of general topics, but we’ll focus entirely on the game’s “Exclusive Store,” since I’ve been surprised by just how amazing the cards they offer are. However, I won’t discuss them directly until I post another article sharing their strengths and whether they’re truly worth it in the game—which I’m sure they are. Stay tuned for new posts next week:

So, since we already know what's in store for this Sunday, read this post all the way through so you can learn about this store and how the VOUCHERS work.

What are VOUCHERS, and how do you get them?

Before we dive into the game’s “Exclusive Store,” it’s essential that we learn about VOUCHERS and how to get them, because many new players probably don’t have the slightest idea how it works—not to mention that I imagine they think these cards are out of reach, but that’s not the case; anyone can earn them and access them, but it’s just a matter of knowing how it works and exactly where to find them.

But before all that, I'll answer a question you're probably asking yourselves, which is this:

What are VOUCHERS?

---

---

Well, it’s not very hard to figure out what they are, since it’s simply a token created for a specific purpose: its sole function is to serve as a currency used to purchase exclusive “Cards” in the Splinterlands rewards store or at any type of special event where it may be required to access an offer, bonus, or benefit the team is offering at that time. Beyond that, there’s nothing else behind what the VOUCHER token actually is.

Now that we've clarified this and know what they are and what they're used for, all that's left is to find out the current ways to obtain them. And to put everyone's mind at ease, it's not very complicated, since there are three ways to do so, which are:

> SPS Staking: This is the first way to earn VOUCHERS directly, and I’d say it’s the easiest of all, since all you have to do is stake your SPS to start receiving VOUCHERS completely passively. To do this, a fixed pool of 20,000 VOUCHERS is distributed daily among all SPS holders, so the more SPS you have staked, the more VOUCHERS you’ll receive. > > SPS Validator Nodes: Another way to earn daily VOUCHERS is to have an “SPS Validator Node.” To do this, you need to hold the LICENSE token and complete a few other steps that I won’t go into in this post, but which involve some cost; However, validator nodes can generate SPS earnings by securing the network, and you also earn VOUCHERS, since there is a fixed pool of 20,000 VOUCHERS per day distributed among all active node holders on the network. > > The Secondary Market: The VOUCHER isn’t just a token used for special events or exclusive cards—it’s a token with market value that fluctuates based on supply and demand, so you can purchase it on “Hive Engine” and “Tribaldex.” Additionally, within the game itself, you can exchange them for DECS depending on the market price, since you can’t withdraw them from the platform as such—you used to be able to, but not anymore. However, what you can do is buy them and transfer them directly to Splinterlands.

How the “Exclusive Store” Works in Splinterlands

It’s actually quite simple, but many people may not realize this and are only focusing on what they can see—the traditional card market, rentals, battles, and other things— However, buying these cards goes beyond the cost of purchasing very powerful or exclusive cards; it also involves what’s called speculation, since these are cards that the market (players) perceive as being of great value because of the way they’re obtained. I should also add that they have a limited availability, which gives them that sense of uniqueness.

But let's explain how it works, and then I'll share my thoughts on it, because I'll analyze the cards in another post.

How the Store Works

Basically, the store works just like any other; however, instead of using DEC or Credits to make purchases, you use VOUCHERS, where each card has a different cost based on its rarity—Common, Rare, and Epic—in most cases, although there have been promotions featuring “Legendary” cards, which are well worth it. but it’s basically the rarity that determines a card’s market value, in addition to, of course, the impact the card can have on the game itself.

To figure this out, all you have to do is look at the card's abilities and stats, but there are several factors that influence this. The main ones, however, are what I mentioned: stats, abilities, and how easy it is to use.

What are the current cards?

In the images, you can get a general idea of the cards and what each one offers—I'm referring to their abilities—although they also have skins that you can buy with VOUCHERS. But don't worry; as I said, I'll explain each one in detail, so if you want to know how to use them and what impact they have on the battlefield, comment on this post and follow me.

Final Thoughts

VOUCHERS and the Rewards Store are an important part of the ecosystem, since we always have new events and cards that are incredible—I know this because I’ve seen them in advance. That’s why the current META evolves so quickly, and it’s impossible to catch your breath, since you have to stay active to keep up with everything new in the game.

If you're new here and don't know about the VOUCHERS and the exclusive store, now is the time to find out.

See you on the "Battlefield"
