About 10 days ago, I shared a post with you in which I talked about the Earth and Life Splinters—and the one before that (Fire and Water)—analyzing their strengths, each one’s playstyle, some key abilities, and so on. But today is different—we still have a few “Elements” left to analyze. Yes, they’re also a kind of element because we’re thinking of the elements of nature, so we can call them either way. But the point here is that we’re nearing the final analysis of this series of posts I created with the intention of educating newer players and showing them the playstyles of these Splinters.
So in this post, it’s time to analyze the Splinters from “Death and the Neutral”—two of my favorites and undoubtedly among the strongest. Of course, that doesn’t mean they don’t have weaknesses, but throughout this post I’ll be explaining how each one works, along with their playstyles and strengths, so that when you read it, you’ll understand why they’re two of my favorites. Still, judge all this information for yourself, and let me know in the comments which Splinter is the most powerful and useful for you—or for all of you, in this case, since I’m writing to the community at large.

Analysis of the Splinters' Strengths and Their Playstyles (Death and Neutral Splinters)

As I mentioned in the previous two posts, each element—or Splinter—has its own strengths and playstyle. This means that each “Splinter” can be effective in different types of situations we encounter on the battlefield. However, to get the most out of a Splinter, in addition to knowing this information, you need to understand the full context—that is, which abilities work best in specific situations.
But that's not all, because as I mentioned, each Splinter has a different playstyle, and although they may function differently in certain ways at times, each one's specialty is evident. To give you an example so you can easily understand based on what we've learned, we need to:
Fire Splinter: This type specializes in physical melee attacks; it relies on brute force, featuring colossal monsters that are extremely strong and, in many cases, highly resilient.
Water Splinter: Specializes in magical attacks, with a primary focus on ranged attacks that target health points directly; however, over time, they have also evolved to include physical attacks. Still, I would focus on the former if possible. They also tend to be very fast, which is an important factor to take into consideration.
Earth Splinter: This Splinter prioritizes strength and endurance, so if you put together a good combo, it can last for many rounds and wear down the enemy in the heat of battle.
Life Splinter: It’s usually very similar to the Earth Splinter, but focuses on shield-based protection and support. Of course, they possess powerful physical attacks, but generally speaking, the Life element focuses on protecting their comrades, even reviving them.
But now it's time to see what kind of playing style "Splinter of Death" has:

The Death Splinter is one of my favorites, though not because of its darkness—far from it—but because its playstyle and strengths go beyond anything we’ve seen with previous ones. For example, this Splinter focuses on weakening absolutely all of the enemy’s stats, which means it doesn’t focus on having a lot of firepower (though it does have some at times), but rather specializes in penalizing certain actions on the opponent’s cards, allowing you to gain the upper hand from there.
> Strengths: It’s very easy to identify your strengths now, since I’ve practically already listed them. What I mean is that you can reduce your opponent’s attack, health, speed, and shield, and even neutralize certain specific abilities—including poison, which is lethal to everyone in the game and, although it can be countered, is difficult to deal with. > > Playstyle: The goal when playing with Death Splinter is to dominate and control the battlefield. We can achieve this by reducing our opponent’s card stats as much as possible, especially when facing very powerful cards. By applying this strategy against such opponents, we’ll be able to weaken their most powerful cards as much as possible. > > Key Abilities: There’s no need to go into too much detail here; basically, we just need to keep in mind all the skills that reduce the stats of our opponent’s cards, or, failing that, eliminate or minimize the effect of our opponent’s cards as much as possible.

The Neutral Splinter is one of the most unique ones in the game. While it doesn’t have a special attribute like the others I’ve already described, the reality is that the cards in this Splinter are adaptable and versatile, which means that no matter the situation or scenario they’re in, they can always adapt to anything—not to mention that you can fill gaps in your strategies with just one or several cards.
Strengths: Its versatility and adaptability far exceed those of any of the other Splinters/Elements, and the reason for this is that every “Neutral” card can be combined with any other card in the game, giving you endless possibilities for creating strategies and/or combinations that your opponent surely won’t expect.
Playstyle: It doesn't have a specific playstyle, but the way this type of card should be played is by adapting to the strategies and/or combinations of the other cards. Therefore, its role is to synergize with the rest of the deck—in short, to provide that disruptive element the opponent doesn't expect, thereby reducing the chances of failure. That is the true value of this Splinter.

For me, these are two of the strongest Splinters of all, since the way we have to play them breaks with convention, especially when most opponents focus on using a specific type of attack, That’s why the “Death” Splinter offers a shift in strategy that focuses more on weakening the opponent, while the Neutral Splinter focuses on adapting to what you want to create. In the case of the “Death Splinter,” which already focuses on weakness, since we play it exclusively with Neutral cards, the ideal approach is to use it for both offense and defense to dominate the field.

Ya hace unos 10 días les compartí la publicación en la que hablo acerca de los Splinters Tierra y Vida y antes de este (Fuego y Agua), analizando sus puntos fuertes, el estilo de juego que tiene cada uno, algunas habilidades clave etc. Pero, hoy es diferente, aun nos faltan unos “Elementos” por analizar, porque si, también son especie de elementos debido a que, tenemos presente los elementos de la naturaleza, así que podemos llamarlos de cualquiera de las 2 formas, pero, el caso aquí es que nos acercamos al análisis final de esta serie de publicaciones que cree con la intención de educar a los jugadores mas nuevos con el objetivo de mostrarles los estilos de juego de estos Splinters.
Así que en este post ha llegado el tueno de analizar los Splinters de “Muerte y el Neutral”, dos de mis favoritos y de los mas fuertes sin duda, por supuesto, eso no quiere decir que no tengan debilidades, pero en el desarrollo de este post estaré explicando como funciona cada uno y sus estilos de juego y fortalezas, por lo que cuando lo leas entenderás porque son 2 de mis favoritos, aun así, juzga por tu mismo toda esta información, y en los comentaros me dicen cual es el Splinter más poderoso y útil para ti o para todos ustedes en este caso, ya que le escribo a la comunidad en general.

Como he dicho en los 2 post anteriores, los elementos o Splinters tienen fortalezas y estilos de juego diferentes de cada uno, eso quiere decir que cada “Splinter” puede funcionar para distinto tipo de situaciones que se nos presenten en el campo de batalla, sin embargo, para lograr sacar la máxima capacidad de un Splinter, ademas de conocer esta información, necesitas dominar todo el contexto, me refiero a las habilidades que funcionan en determinadas situaciones.
