Just yesterday I posted an article explaining many of the basics of the “Bronze League” and why it’s so important to understand these things—because if you want to compete, you have to start with the basics, understand the game, and work your way up level by level, and that first hurdle to overcome is precisely the famous “Bronze Tier”—we already know how it works and what to keep in mind. Likewise, once I finish this introduction, I’ll include a direct link to that post below, though you’ll also find it at the end of this post.
What’s relevant to this post and its content is that I’ll explain the factors that can affect that “Bronze Win Rate.” Also, to give you a bit of context, I’ll show you examples of how challenging the “Bronze League” might be compared to all the others—and the best part is saved for last, because I’ll share some strategies using cards that are currently part of the META in Splinterlands, which is very important, because this information is obtained directly from the Splinterlands APIs—as I mentioned in my last post, these APIs provide valuable insights to help you progress in the game by leveraging what’s currently working.

I know I talked about “Win Rate” in my last post, but this is very important for understanding how players in this league should play, because even though it may seem like everything works the same in every league, that’s not the case—many aspects are subtle, since the changes are noticeable in certain ways, but this is precisely what helps a player win—knowing these small details and mastering their leagues. So, in order to reach that level, you need to know these things.
Of course, this kind of information is known to the most experienced players—those who’ve been playing for a long time or are even starting to master the game—but new players run into a wall they can’t get past. They get frustrated and think the game is unfair, but that’s not the case; it’s simply a lack of preparation and knowledge—but that’s about to change.

Speed as a Factor in Accuracy: Although this may sound very basic, it actually determines who wins or loses in many battles, since every point of difference in the speed stat between an attacking card and a defending unit drastically reduces the chance that the attack will hit its target—specifically for physical attacks (Melee and Ranged), which is around 10%. This is crucial because in “Bronze,” where many cards have low health points due to their level, missed attacks can be detrimental in battle.
Modifier Frequency: Something many players may not realize is that in the “Bronze” league, the vast majority of battles—if not all—have only one modifier or rule. Basically, there’s a 75% chance of encountering changing modifiers and a 25% chance of getting the “Standard” rule, where anything goes. This means you don’t need to deal with double or triple modifiers that greatly complicate strategy; instead, you can focus on mastering the basic mechanics to survive—such as the shield, reducing magic damage with “Void,” evading attacks with “Flying”—and for offense, direct damage is best: “Opportunity,” “Sneak,” “Snipe,” etc.
The skill level of your “Opponents”: While there are experienced players in this league—all at the top of their game—most of the players you’ll face use linear strategies. In short, they always repeat the same combination. Knowing this can help you easily counter these combinations and go on long winning streaks.

One important thing for beginner players to keep in mind is that they can’t spend a lot of money. So, if, for example, they want to buy some cards to improve their game and their chances of winning, they can’t just pick any card—they have to look for the most affordable and effective ones for “Bronze” based on the META. With that in mind, let’s take a look at which cards these are:

Ulundin Overseer (Neutral-Common): A much-needed tank for battles; not only can you play it on any team, but it also has excellent defense thanks to its combination of health and shield. Additionally, it has the “Flank” ability, which provides an offensive boost to the second card.
Goblin Psychic (Earth - Common): If you play in “Wild” mode, this card will be very useful, especially because its “Tank Heal” ability is extremely helpful in leagues like “Bronze.” If you play it with “Obsidian,” it can be significantly improved, as its attack also increases.
Regal Peryton (Earth - Rare): This card is also very useful if you want to play in Wild. It deals magic damage, so it pairs very well with Obsidian; it has strong magic attack and is very fast, which increases its effectiveness. It also has “Flying,” which aids in both attack and defense.
Halfling Refugee: This is an excellent card that can adapt to both formats. It costs only 1 mana and, with incredibly strong stats, can dominate the board without much difficulty. However, it has the “Weary” debuff, so you’ll need to learn how to deal with it.

IMPORTANT: These are some of the most important cards you can play in “Bronze.” There are many more, of course, but it depends a lot on your objectives and the format you’re playing in. When I say “objectives,” I mean what kind of combos you want to play—though, of course, this would become irrelevant if you consider that what really matters is direct damage and a strong defense.

Of course, I could take much more time and write a more comprehensive post—which would probably run into thousands of words—but that would be incredibly boring to read. I’d rather condense it and break it down into parts; that way, it’s much easier to digest. Justo ayer realice un post donde explicaba muchas cosas básicas de la “Liga Bronce” y porque es tan importante entender ese tipo de cosas, debido a que, si quieres competir, tienes que comenzar desde lo mas básico, comprender el juego e ir subiendo de nivel poco a poco, y ese primer escalón a superar es precisamente la famosa “Liga de Bronce” y donde ya sabemos como funciona y que es lo que se debe tener en cuenta, igualmente, cuando culmine esta introducción dejare aquí debajo enlace directo a esa publicación, aunque igual se la conseguirán al final del post.
Lo relevante para esta publicación y sus desarrollo es que explicare cuales son los factores que puede afectar ese “Win Rate en Bronce”, ademas para darles un poco de contexto, les mostrare ejemplos de cual podría ser la dificultad de la “Liga Bronce” en comparación con todas las demás y lo mejor de todo será para el final porque mostrare algunas estrategias con cartas que se encuentran actualmente formando parte del METAJUEGO en Splinterlands, algo que es muy importante, porque esta información es obtenida directamente desde las API de Splinterlands, donde comente en la publicación pasada, que puedes tener información muy valiosa para poder progresar en el juego con lo que está funcionando justo ahora.

Se que hable en el post pasado sobre el “Win Rate”, pero, esto es muy importante para entender la forma en como los jugadores en esta liga deben jugar, ya que aunque parezca que todo funciona igual en cada una de las ligas, no es así, muchos aspectos son imperceptibles, ya que de cierta forma se notan los cambios, pero, es esto precisamente lo que ayuda a un jugador a ganar, conocer estos pequeños detalles y dominar sus ligas, por lo que, para que puedan acceder a ese nivel, necesitan conocer estas cosas.
