Proof of start of my watch collection

Just to proof that I haven't forgotten about sharing my watch collection, this is my proof of start. I started writing about my watch collection at the beginning of the month, and typically this is how long it takes me to write a post nowadays.

My personal watch collection I have actually written a few posts about my watches back in the very early days. Hubs and I had quite a watch collection but we're gradually selling them now. Here's a few that I've still got. I've included the link to the previous post for each of them.
The first watch I want to share is my [Concord](https://ecency.com/@livinguktaiwan/watchshowcaseconcord-a0d7f7hkqo), it's a very elegant and ladylike watch, which sadly I don't have many opportunity to wear nowadays.
The Cartier is the first proper watch I bought for myself when I got my first pay check. It's a quartz, not mechanic watch, but still works very well today and holds special meaning to me.
Rolex is probably the most prestigious and well known watch brand to the general public. I inherited my Rolex from my father in law, the full story can be found [here](https://ecency.com/@livinguktaiwan/watchshowcase-rolex-to8bjcci73). In future, I will pass this onto one of his three grandsons.
This Omega is very dear to me because it used to belong to my late mother. It's a beautiful classic watch, you'll find more details about it [here](https://ecency.com/@livinguktaiwan/watchshowcaseomega-pytxov7dd5). I plan to gift this to my nephew's (my brother's son) wife when he gets married in the future because he's the only grandson that carries the family name.

Swatch collection We have bought a range of Swatch watches over the years. They are fun and affordable and you can get carried away with buying them. I took photos of some of them to sell online recently. Quite a few are sold already. The one in the bottom centre is the most expensive and is selling for over £200 elsewhere on the internet. It cost me a fraction of that years ago.
Atlanta hosted the Olympic games in 1996, and this limited edition collection box was issued by Swatch to commemorate the centennial games. Thirty thousand sets were released, and there are nine watches in each set. I couldn't get the other three watches out from the box without using force, which I didn't want to do in case I broke the box.
America will be hosting the games again in 2028 in Los Angeles. I'm hoping this box collection might gain some interest then. At the moment its price range around £100 to £500.

This set of six watches is called Artist. If you look carefully, you'll see each alphabet on the box spelling out artist. Some years ago, I framed them in a big picture frame and hung it on display at home. I'm gutted that I never took a photo of it because it was very cool. Since then, I've moved around a bit, and they now live back in their box.

Last and not the least, my clock. They're a bit of a rarity in home nowadays. I only have one, and I plan to keep it because it's a very nice one. I bought this in Denmark many years ago, and in typical Nordic style, it's simple yet very cool, and looks like it's floating against the wall.
The minute hand is connected to the outer ring one, and a plate in the centre. The whole piece moves around during the hour. The hour hand is connected to the movement at the back. Some friends say they find it a little difficult to tell the time when they first see the clock. What do you think?
The clock comes in many colours, and I decided to go bold for something so simple to make an impact. Plus, walls are normally painted white, I figured bright orange would make it stand out. It currently lives in my kitchen above my tea shelf, accompanied by my little girl Snowpea. She says Hi and Bye!!
