SeptAmber is Back. A Cozy 10-Character Design Challenge for the month of September.
Hello drawaday community and fellow artists, September is officially here, it’s that time of year again to lean into all things autumn. Last year, we celebrated the season with daily prompt lists, but this year, I’m bringing SeptAmber back with a more relaxed approach. Instead of pushing through 30 daily prompts which can easily lead to burnout this edition is designed to let everyone create at their own pace without the pressure.
So What is new for SeptAmber this year? Character Design Focus: We are moving from general autumnal prompts to creating a full cast of characters rooted in cozy, seasonal vibes. 10 Prompts Total: Rather than 30 crazy days, we’re focusing on 10 distinct character prompts. Flexible Pace: That breaks down to just 2 prompts per week across 5 weeks. You’ll have plenty of space to breathe, flesh out details, and work at a comfortable speed.
Sounds good right? It is your choice whether you want to sketch quick concepts, maybe develop full line art, or craft complete color scripts , this challenge is all about enjoying the process and exploring character design together. Hope you are excited now
