Hola, comunidad, hace tiempo que no pasó por acá. Tuve qué congelar la universidad temporalmente y ponerme a trabajar para ayudar a mi señora madre con los gastos para comenzar a fabricar una casa pequeña en un terreno que recibimos. Mi horario de trabajo es de lunes a sábado de 7:30 am a 7:30 pm y los domingos de 7:30 am a 4 pm. Sin un día libre a la semana. Por eso me es muy difícil ahora poder publicar.

Estas sombras las cacé cuando iba al trabajo, aprovechando que me voy al mismo caminando. Iba una señora con una carretilla con una bolsa plástica negra de esas que se usan acá en Venezuela para colocar la basura, un señor la alcanzó y la ayudó a llevarla y luego se detuvieron en una pequeña bodega a comprar algo. El señor fue quien pidió le despacharan mientras la señora revisaba su celular.

Esto me hizo pensar que, realmente, ya las personas lo que tienen con el comunicarse es una adicción. Antes, cuando los únicos reléfonis existentes eran los de casa, nadie andaba con ansiedad por la calle porque no podía llamar o ser llamado por sus familiares o amigos. Ahora... no pueden dejar de comunicarse con DESCONOCIDOS en las redes sociales.

Cualquier momento es "bueno" para conectarse, sí, pero ¿Qué tan bueno es? ¿Qué tan bueno es dejar de oir la voz de quien tienes al lado que es tu familiar, tu amigo o tu vecino, para ver el meme que te mandó alguien que no conoces? ¿Qué tan bueno es dejar de mirar los ojos de tu novia para desgastar los tuyos mientras juegas algo allí? ¿Qué tan bueno es perder la oportunidad de bailar en una fiesta con la chica que te gusta y que tienes al lado pero ni se miran ni se hablan por estar ambos metidos cada uno en su propio celular?

How good is it to stop looking into your girlfriend's eyes to strain your own while playing a game? Estamos dependiendo demasiado de los celulares, estamos dependiendo demasiado de la luz eléctrics. Esta última, ahora que nos la cortan con frecuencia por un promedio de 4 ó 5 horas seguidas, nos hace entrar en crisis y casi que colapsar cuando no contamos con ella.Yo esto lo encuentro desagradable, anormal y peligroso. Es como que toda una civilización se apoya sobre un solo bloque...¿qué nos garantiza que no colapse? ¿Qué pasaría si de improviso nos quedáramos sin energía eléctrica a nivel mundial? ¡Qué barbaridad! ¡Allí hay un buen tema para desarrollar una novela distópica!
>We're becoming overly dependent on cell phones, overly dependent on electricity. The latter, now that it's frequently cut off for an average of four or five hours at a time, throws us into crisis and almost causes us to collapse when we don't have it. I find this unpleasant, abnormal, and dangerous. It's as if an entire civilization rests on a single block... what guarantees that it won't collapse? What would happen if we suddenly lost all electricity worldwide? How awful! That's a great premise for a dystopian novel!
Quizá alguien dirá que mi reacción es exagerada, solo porque una dama está revisando un celular mientras su. compañero de camino compra algo, pero no es una , son millones y millones de damas, caballeros, abuelos, adolescentes y ahora bebés porque cada día son más j9venes los niños que reciben un celular de regalo y los padres comentan con orgullo "Aún no sabe leer pero sabe encontrar los juegos en el celular", "Aún no sabe caminar y mira cómo maneja mi táctil" Esto es grave
>Perhaps someone will say my reaction is exaggerated, just because a lady is checking her cell phone while her companion buys something, but it's not just one woman, it's millions and millions of women, men, grandparents, teenagers, and now babies, because every day younger children receive a cell phone as a gift and their parents proudly comment, "She can't read yet, but she knows how to find games on the phone," "She can't even walk yet, and look how she handles my touchscreen." This is serious.
