While working from my apartment, I listen to the news. They say people are adopting dogs, but when they can't feed them, take them to the vet, etc., they abandon them on the street. I think this can be easily avoided. Think carefully before adopting one. It seems like adoption is trendy, but a dog is a living being, not just a toy.
