Esta semana ha tenido grandes momentos de reflexión profunda para mi y mi emprendimiento. Me he dado cuenta de que, el aumento en el costo de los envíos en empresas de encomiendas ha impactado significativamente mis finanzas, dejándome cerca de 20 dólares menos de ganancia por cada pedido, a veces hasta más, ya que, las prendas que vendo las traigo de otros estados, con la finalidad de tener productos que sean diferentes para el consumidor y que puedan lucir estos con la tranquilidad que no van a conseguir a más nadie vestido igual jeje. > This week has been full of deep reflection for me and my business. I've realized that the increase in shipping costs from courier companies has significantly impacted my finances, leaving me with about $20 less profit per order, sometimes even more, since I source the clothing I sell from other states. This is to offer unique products to consumers, so they can wear them with the confidence that they won't find anyone else wearing the same thing, haha.
Esta situación, la de tener que pagar más en la encomienda, me ha generado mucha preocupación porque ese dinero debería contribuir a mis ahorros y a cumplir los sueños que tengo como emprendedora. Por el mismo motivo, he intentado buscar que, otras opciones podría tener para seguir invirtiendo el dinero que voy generando de las prendas que ya he despachado en calle a mis clientes. > This situation, having to pay more for shipping, has caused me a lot of concern because that money should be contributing to my savings and helping me achieve my dreams as an entrepreneur. For this reason, I've been exploring other options for reinvesting the money I'm making from the clothing I've already shipped to my customers.
Esta es una de las tantas cosas que, como emprendedora venezolana debo tener en cuenta al momento de traer productos, vender, sacar las cuentas, todo lo que conlleva el tener el negocio, el cual, aunque es online, quiero seguir adelante, ya que, como les he indicado tengo un objetivo que quiero cumplir. > This is one of the many things I, as a Venezuelan entrepreneur, must consider when importing products, selling, managing finances—everything involved in running a business. Veo a veces con sorpresa como muchos emprendedores, han inflado el precio de sus productos para incluir el envío, lo cual no está mal, es el deber ser, pero en mi negocio yo comprendí que no puedo trasladar esos costos adicionales a los precios de mis productos, ya que, uno de los valores fundamentales de mi negocio es ofrecer prendas diferentes qué sean de calidad y sobre todo a un precio accesible para mis clientes locales. > I'm sometimes surprised to see how many entrepreneurs have inflated their product prices to include shipping, which isn't wrong; it's the right thing to do. However, in my business, I realized I can't pass those additional costs on to my customers. One of the core values of my business is offering unique, high-quality clothing at an affordable price for my local clients.

Por eso, esta semana decidí reinventar mi emprendimiento, buscando alternativas que reduzcan gastos y que al mismo tiempo mantengan la esencia de lo que quiero compartir: moda original, buena calidad y precios justos. > That's why this week I decided to reinvent my business, looking for ways to reduce expenses while maintaining the essence of what I want to share: original fashion, good quality, and fair prices.
Esta última semana, le he dado fuerte al espacio de mi negocio, donde hago bisutería, porque es solo comprar el material aquí mismo en la ciudad, hacer la bisutería y ponerle mi precio de mano de obra, lo cual, me resulta muchísimo mejor, porque es un precio que esta libre del costo de las encomiendas. > This past week, I've been really focused on my jewelry business. It's so convenient that I only need to buy the materials here in the city, make the jewelry, and add my own labor costs, which is much better because it eliminates shipping costs.
Así mismo, estoy segura de que este proceso me ha traído bastantes aprendizajes y una búsqueda de tiendas aquí en la ciudad o ciudades aledañas, donde vendan al por mayor, aunque por ahora son muy pocas dentro de la ciudad, y no he querido aún viajar a ciudades cercanas, aunque si lo he pensado y esta dentro de mis posibilidades. > I'm also sure this process has been very educational, and I've been looking for wholesale stores here in the city or nearby towns. There are very few of them here, and I haven't wanted to travel to nearby cities yet, although I have considered it and it's within my budget.
Mi cuestión con esta reflexión es que, como emprendedora, este proceso de tener un negocio, esta lleno de aprendizajes qué, me ayudan a mantener el foco en mi único objetivo personal, y tratar de reinventar mi emprendimiento y seguir creciendo y avanzando hacia adelante. > My takeaway from this reflection is that, as an entrepreneur, this process of running a business is full of lessons that help me stay focused on my one personal goal and try to reinvent my venture so I can continue growing and moving forward.
