Hola, amigos. Hoy quiero compartirles una manualidad sencilla, útil y muy especial. En mi trabajo, al cortar formatos y planillas, suelen quedar pequeños márgenes de papel. Muchas veces esas hojitas las uso para apuntar cosas, pero a la vez, terminan perdiéndose o en la basura, así que, decidí darles una nueva oportunidad. > Hello, friends. Today I want to share a simple, useful, and very special craft project with you. At my job, when cutting forms and templates, small scraps of paper are often left over. I often use these scraps to jot things down, but they usually end up lost or in the trash, so I decided to give them a new purpose.
Ayer, mientras me sentía ansiosa y estresada por algunas situaciones familiares y personales, puse en práctica mi lado creativo y elaboré un pequeño block de notas para llevar en la cartera y además reusar y darle vida a estas hojas que irían a la basura en un panorama normal. > Yesterday, while feeling anxious and stressed about some family and personal situations, I put my creative side to work and made a small notepad to carry in my purse. This also reuses and gives new life to these sheets of paper that would normally end up in the trash.

Proceso: / Process: Reuní varios de los recortes de papel, acomodandolos por tamaño, pues habían unos más grandes y otros más delgados qué otros, a ciencia cierta no se cuantos pedazos de hojas había en cada uno. > I gathered several paper scraps, arranging them by size, as some were larger and others thinner. I'm not entirely sure how many pieces of paper were in each one.
Luego de acomodar, recorté para que quedaran del mismo tamaño. > After arranging them, I trimmed them to the same size.
Fui grapando alrededor de 20 hojitas, uniendo también los mazos de hojas entre ellas, como unos 6 o 7 mazos aproximadamente. > I stapled about 20 sheets together, also joining the bundles of sheets together, about 6 or 7 bundles.
Uní todas las hojas y las aseguré en la parte superior con silicon caliente, haciendo especie de un encuadernado, pegando una hoja por donde estaba en grapado y luego colocando la cartulina. > I bound all the sheets together and secured them at the top with hot glue, creating a sort of binding by gluing a sheet along the stapled edge and then attaching the cardstock.
Luego preparé una portada y una contraportada con cartulina reciclada e imprimí unas imágenes en blanco y negro para decorar. > Then I prepared a front and back cover using recycled cardstock and printed some black and white images for decoration.
Estas imágenes las plastifique con tirro. > I laminated these images with tape.
Finalmente, decoré la portada con algunos detalles sencillos, para darle un toque personal, usé colores haciendo un arcoíris y figuras abstractas, y las imágenes que imprimí en blanco y negro. > Finally, I decorated the cover with a few simple details to give it a personal touch. I used colors to create a rainbow and abstract shapes, and the images I printed in black and white.
La finalidad de este block es tener siempre a la mano un espacio donde anotar pagos, ideas, oraciones, pendientes, curiosidades o cualquier pensamiento que surja durante el día. Además de ser práctico, me ayuda a aprovechar materiales que normalmente se desperdiciarían. > The purpose of this notebook is to always have a space handy to jot down payments, ideas, prayers, to-dos, curiosities, or any thoughts that come to mind during the day. Besides being practical, it helps me reuse materials that would normally go to waste.
Ahora este pequeño block viajará conmigo en mi cartera y, seguramente, será mucho más difícil que se pierda. Convirtiendo algo reciclado a algo que puedo usar de forma; sencilla, creativa y útil. > Now this little notebook will travel with me in my purse, and it will certainly be much harder to lose. I've transformed something recycled into something I can use in a simple, creative, and useful way.
