Good afternoon, my dearest #Hive readers! Happy Saturday to everyone—I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. It’s your friend Manuel here, and I’m really excited to bring you a new digital illustration I completed yesterday to share on my blog. This time, I decided to focus once again on the fantastic universe of my dear friends in the #Holozing community to draw the avian creature Fally! As many of you who follow the game know, Fally is the second evolution stage of Fal, belonging to the falcon line. In this stage, its wings grow significantly larger—allowing it to reach higher altitudes and fly across much longer distances—while its dark head visor modifies itself to fit its head better and shield it against impacts! >Muy buenas tardes mis queridĂsimos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, feliz sábado para todos, espero que estĂ©n teniendo un excelente fin de semana. Por aquĂ los saluda su amigo Manuel, muy emocionado de traerles una nueva ilustraciĂłn digital que terminĂ© el dĂa de ayer para compartir en mi blog. En esta oportunidad, decidĂ enfocarme una vez más en el fantástico universo de mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de #Holozing para dibujar a la criatura de tipo ave, Fally. Como muchos de los que conocen el juego sabrán, Fally pertenece a la lĂnea de los halcones y representa la segunda etapa evolutiva de Fal. En esta fase su apariencia evoluciona, sus alas se vuelven un poco más grandes para permitirle vuelos más altos y de mayor distancia, y el visor alrededor de su cara se modifica para adaptarse mejor a su cabeza y protegerla contra impactos.
PROCESS / PROCESO
For the concept and character design, I wanted to portray Fally perched proudly on a tree branch, spreading its magnificent wings to demonstrate its newly gained power and stature. I focused on defining its sharp beak, its glowing green eyes, its dark protective face visor, and its warm brown plumage layered across its chest, body, and tail. >Para el concepto y diseño del personaje, quise representar a Fally posado con orgullo sobre la rama de un árbol, extendiendo sus impresionantes alas para demostrar su nueva fuerza y envergadura. Me enfoqué en definir su pico afilado, sus brillantes ojos verdes, su visor protector oscuro y el plumaje en tonos castaños cálidos distribuido a lo largo de su pecho, cuerpo y cola.
For the details and rendering, I worked carefully on defining the smooth texture of its feathers using soft airbrush blends, shaping the layered structure of its expanded wings. I rendered the metallic dark sheen on its head visor, polished the sharp claws gripping the wooden branch, and refined the highlights on its eyes to capture its alert, predator-like expression. >Para los detalles y el renderizado, trabajé cuidadosamente en definir la textura suave de sus plumas mediante un sombreado con aerógrafo, moldeando la estructura en capas de sus alas expandidas. Rendericé el brillo oscuro del visor en su cabeza, pulà las garras afiladas sujetando la rama de madera y refiné los reflejos de sus ojos para capturar una mirada alerta e imponente.
For the magical elements, lighting, and environment, I placed Fally outdoors high up in the tree canopy, set against distant mountains and a radiant golden afternoon sun. The bright sunlight filters from behind the mountain range, casting warm yellow highlights along the edges of its wings, head, and feathers, while creating a soft atmospheric blur across the lush green forest in the background. >Para los elementos mágicos, la iluminación y la ambientación, ubiqué a Fally al aire libre en lo alto de la copa de un árbol, teniendo como fondo cadenas montañosas y un radiante sol dorado de atardecer. La brillante luz solar se filtra desde la parte posterior de las montañas, proyectando cálidos reflejos amarillos sobre los bordes de sus alas, cabeza y plumas, mientras crea un suave desenfoque atmosférico sobre el frondoso bosque verde del fondo.
