🇫🇷 C'est sans aucun doute le graal d'un séjour touristique à Mayotte. Me concernant ça a été mon quasi quotidien d'après mes journées de travail. Sortie 15h00 du travail, un coup de voiture, un jean jeté sur le lit et troqué contre un caleçon de bain, le moteur sur l'épaule direction la plage, le tout au cul de la barque et hop 16h15 sur les îlot. A moins que ce n'était avec le kayak, ou encore en courant rejoindre un pote qui avait déjà tout préparé à bord de la barque incluant les blocs de plongée. Ca s'appelle "le bon temps" je crois !!! C'est vrai que l'endroit est paradisiaque d'autant plus en dehors des week end où en plus d'être paradisiaque il est déserté de toute présence, sauf de la mienne ! 🇬🇧 This is undoubtedly the holy grail of a tourist stay in Mayotte. Leaving work at 3:00 p.m., a quick drive, jeans thrown on the bed and swapped for swim trunks, the engine on the shoulder towards the beach, all at the back of the boat and hop 4:15 p.m. on the islands. Unless it was with the kayak, or by running to join a friend who had already prepared everything on board the boat, including the diving blocks. It’s called "le bon temps" I think!!! It’s true that the place is heavenly, especially outside of weekends where, in addition to being heavenly, it is deserted of any presence except mine!

🇫🇷 Deux cailloux, un gros et un plus petit, les deux reliés par une langue de sable qui s'incurve vers le nord ou vers le sud en fonction de la saison et des vents dominants. Les vagues du nord y rencontrent celles du sud et créent une mini "sélérat" sur la langue de sable. Ce n'est pas grand chose mais on pourrait bien y passer des heures à regarder ce spectacle ! Et comme si ce n'était pas suffisant, un masque et quelques coups de palmes plus tard il y a la partie immergée de l'iceberg à découvrir, encore plus grande, encore plus dense, encore plus spectaculaire ! Je vous laisse admirer l'endroit sur ces photos et n'hésitez pas à laisser un commentaire! 🇬🇧 Two pebbles, one large and one smaller, both connected by a tongue of sand that curves north or south depending on the season and prevailing winds. The north waves meet those of the south and create a mini "selerate" on the sand tongue. It’s not much but we could spend hours watching this show! And as if that wasn’t enough, a mask and a few strokes of fins later, there is the submerged part of the iceberg to discover, even bigger, even denser, even more spectacular!
