Hello, my fellow crafters and crochet lovers! How is everyone doing? My favorite community, #neeleworkmonday—today I want to share another one of my crochet projects with you here, and I’m going to show you how to make a beautiful flower-shaped crochet coaster. It’s a round granny-style design—or you could also call it a mandala. We’ll crochet it in the round, and in just four rounds, the project will be finished.
For this project, I’ll be using unbleached cotton yarn in beige.
This project is versatile—you can use it as a coaster, as a decoration, or to display whatever you like best.

>En esta ocasión utilizaré hilo de algodón crudo, color beige.
>Este proyecto es multifuncional, puedes usarlos de posa vaso, para adornar o colocarle lo que más te guste.

🧡 Materials//🧡 Materiales Unbleached beige cotton yarn. Crochet hook No. 0. Scissors.
>Hilo de algodón crudo color beige. Aguja de crochet N° 0. Tijera.
🧡 Stitches to use in the project: chain stitches, slip stitches, double crochet, and increasing double crochets.
>🧡 Puntos a utilizar en el proyecto: cadenas, punto raso o deslizado, punto alto y puntos altos en aumento.
🧡 Step by Step//🧡 Paso a Paso 1.- Round. Make a magic ring.
Chain three stitches, which counts as the first double crochet.
Continue with nineteen double crochets inside the magic ring (for a total of twenty double crochets).
Close the round with a slip stitch, pull the yarn end through, and close the magic ring.
>1.- Vuelta. Hacer un anillo mágico.
>Subir con tres cadenas que se cuenta como el primer punto alto.
>Continuar con diecinueve puntos altos dentro del anillo mágico (en total veinte puntos altos).
>Cerrar la vuelta con un punto deslizado, tirar la hebra del hilo y cerrar el anillo mágico.

2.- Round. Chain three stitches to form the first double crochet, followed by a double crochet and two chain stitches for spacing.
Repeat the sequence of one double crochet plus two chain stitches at each of the remaining stitches in the base round. Fasten off with a slip stitch in the third chain from the beginning.
This will give you ten groups or spaces separated by chain stitches; fasten off with a slip stitch.
>2.- Vuelta. Hacer tres puntos cadenas que será el primer punto alto, seguido de un punto alto más dos cadenas de separación.
>Repetir la secuencia un punto alto más dos cadenas, en cada uno de los puntos restantes de la vuelta de base. Cerrar con un punto raso en la tercera cadena del inicio.
>Así obtendremos la cantidad de diez grupos o espacios separados por cadenas, cerrar con un punto raso.

3.- Round. Chain three, then work one double crochet, followed by three chain stitches to create a space; work two increase double crochets, and repeat two double crochets, three chain stitches, and two double crochets in each of the following chain spaces around the entire round.
Fasten off with a slip stitch in the third initial chain stitch.
>3.- Vuelta. Subir con tres cadenas osea el primer punto alto, seguidamente de un punto alto y tres puntos cadenas de separación en ese mismo espacio, tejer dos puntos altos de aumento, y repetir dos puntos altos, tres cadenas y dos puntos altos, en cada uno de los siguientes espacios de cadena alrededor de toda la vuelta.
>Cerrar con un punto raso, en la tercera cadena inicial.

4.- Round. Chain three—this will be the first double crochet. Next, work five double crochets to form the first fan, followed by a single crochet. Repeat this sequence, alternating between fans of six double crochets and single crochets all around the edge to create the flower’s wavy shape.
Close with a slip stitch, cut the yarn, and weave in the ends.
>4.- Vuelta. Tejer tres cadenas ala aire, será el primer punto alto, seguidamente vamos a tener cinco puntos altos, para formar el primer abanico más un punto bajo, repetir esta misma secuencia alternando los abanicos de seis puntos altos y los puntos bajos alrededor de todo el contorno para darle la forma de ondas de la flor.
>Cerrar con un punto raso, cortar el hilo y esconder los sobrantes.
