Happy start to the week to my fellow crochet enthusiasts! Today I’m sharing a lovely sunflower inside a granny square—perfect for making crochet bags.
>Feliz inicio de semana a mis amigos crocheteros, hoy les comparto un precioso girasol dentro un cuadrado grannys, especial para elaborar bolsos a crochet.
🌻 Materials:
Crochet thread in brown, deep yellow, variegated green, and dark beige; a size 2 crochet hook; scissors.
🌻 Stitches used:
Double crochet, half-double crochet, and chain stitches.

>Puntos altos normales, puntos medio altos, puntos de cadenas.
🌻 Instructions:
We begin with the brown yarn. Row 1: Make a magic ring and work 12 double crochets into it. Row 2: Switch to the bright yellow yarn; work a cluster of 3 double crochets (worked together) into each stitch, separated by 2 chains. Row 3: Switch to the variegated green yarn and form the square as follows: make a "fan" consisting of 3 double crochets, 3 chains, and 3 double crochets in the same space; then make 6 chains, skip 2 spaces, and repeat the fan pattern until you have 4 equal sides.
Row 4: Switch back to the beige yarn. Work half-double crochets over the stitches of the fans; in the center space, work a single stitch separated by 3 chains, and work 3 double crochets over the previous chains (anchoring them into the space from the yellow row); repeat this pattern across the two empty spaces to form the 4 equal sides. >Comenzamos con el hilo de color marron Fila 1. Elaboramos un anillo magico y dentro de este hacemos 12 puntos altos normales, Fila 2. Colocamos el color amarillo intenso y hacemos sobre cada punto 3 puntos altos normales cerrados juntos, separados por 2 cadenas, Fila 3. Cambiamos por el hilo color verde degrade y formamos el cuadrado de esta manera, hacemos un abanico de 3 puntos altos normales, 3 cadenas, 3 puntos altos normales en el mismo espacio, 6 cadenas saltamos 2 espacios y repetimos el abanico, hasta obtener 4 lados iguales.
>Fila 4. Cambiamos de nuevo al hilo color beige, aca hacemos puntos medios altos sobre los puntos en los abanicos, en el centro solo hacemos un punto separados por 3 cadenas y 3 puntos altos sobre las cadenas anteriores tomando desde el espacio de la fila amarilla, en los dos espacios vacios y repetimos los 4 lados iguales, Fila 5.
