No parking Is there anything more challenging than arriving home during rush hour, when the sun is at its most intense, and you try to get out of the car as close to home as possible? But there's a visible and malevolent problem: the neighbor arrived a few minutes before you. He didn't panic, he didn't freeze up; he just saw an opportunity, and bam! He took your parking space. He didn't think he was invading someone else's. I tried to be nice to my neighbor. I counted to ten, like I promised my family. I tried to imagine the sun caressing my entire body. I swear I tried. I walked to his house with a forced smile, but my thoughts and mouth were full of polite words. He responded with hesitant cynicism, "Neighbor, stay calm, live your life, and learn to live. Wait, I'll move my car in half an hour..." I blurted out his last name. I called him an abusive neighbor and a few other nasty words we use in these situations to defend ourselves or to insult. This is the last time he takes my space. I'm not going to put up a "No Parking" sign, but I'm going to call the traffic police and the neighborhood association.

Se me unieron los apellidos, le dije vecino abusador y unas cuantas palabras feas de las que usamos en estos casos para defendernos o para insultar, que sea la última vez que ocupa mi espacio, no voy a poner letrero de no estacionar, pero voy a llamar a la policía de tránsito, a la junta de condominio a poner una denuncia, ud saque su automóvil de inmediato sino quiere cargar con las consecuencias del estrés que me produce su abusivo pr5oceder.
