I'm not normal. I was always labeled as abnormal, a kind of black sheep of the family, not because I was difficult, but for being honest, for setting boundaries, for breaking family patterns, for speaking up when others stayed silent. That label hurts a lot when you're a child because it makes you feel like you're a bad person. After growing up and taking responsibility for my life, I understood that I wasn't the different one, nor the problem. I was simply defending my interests, my position, my way of being. I'm not rebellious or abnormal; I'm authentic, and I project my essence wherever I am. I grew up with the idea that being the black sheep was something bad, a real flaw I had, but it's not so bad to be different. It's more an act of survival. If that's why I'm not normal, I feel good being true to myself without trying to meet other people's expectations.
No soy normal, siempre fui etiquetada como alguien anormal una especie de oveja negra de la familia no porque fuera conflictiva sino por ser sincera, por poner limites, por romper con patrones familiares por alzar la voz cuando los demás callan, esa etiqueta cuando se es niño duele mucho porque da la sensación de que se es alguien malo. Luego de crecer y hacerme responsable de mi vida entendí que no era yo la diferente, ni la del problema, yo simplemente defendía mis intereses, mi postura, mi forma de ser, no soy rebelde ni anormal soy auténtica y mi esencia la impongo donde sea, crecí con la idea de que ser la oveja negra era algo malo un defecto real que yo tenía, pero no es tan malo ser diferente, es más un acto de supervivencia si por eso no soy normal, me siento bien siendo coherente conmigo misma sin tratar de cubrir expectativas de los demás.
