Aquí vamos un día de esos junto a mi niña Amaya Victoria mi nieta mayor, con la que comparto casi a diario, esto fue un 12 de diciembre 2025, en el jardín de mi casa, comiendo mandarina, no había luz en casa, estábamos con mucho calor y nos sentamos afuera a refrescarnos con la poca brisa que circulaba, eran casi las cinco de la tarde aun el sol estaba encendido y un poco odiosito. Mi Amaya le gustan las plantas con flores, tengo muchas plantas de putica o vicaria de diferentes colores a ella le gusta estar ahí en medio de las flores, verlas, tocarlas algunas veces despegar algunas para ponerla en su cabello y en el mio o llevarle a la mamá, ahí pasamos varias horas juntas hablando, jugando, cantando y compartiendo, tiene una silla mecedora que cuando la trae a casa no quiere salir del jardín, aunque haya demasiado sol, como que heredó mi gusto por la naturaleza, me encantan esos momentos de abuela y nieta, momentos que siempre voy a recordar y ella también. Amaya lleva dos días con fiebre, ayer la llevaron al médico, resulta que tiene algunas aftas bucales, estuvo el domingo en una piscina, su primera vez en una y seguramente de allí vino la infección y eso que era una piscina pequeña en casa de la tía solo ella y un primo de la misma edad, ella es una niña muy sana casi nunca se enferma, pero bueno pasó esto y me tiene algo preocupada, Dios permita que hoy ya empiece a mejorar.
Here we go on one of those days with my little girl, Amaya Victoria, my eldest granddaughter, with whom I spend almost every day. This was December 12, 2025, in my garden, eating tangerines. There was no electricity in the house, it was very hot, and we sat outside to cool off in the little breeze that was circulating. It was almost five in the afternoon, the sun was still high and a bit harsh. My Amaya loves flowering plants. I have many periwinkles or petunias of different colors. She likes to be there among the flowers, looking at them, touching them, sometimes picking some to put in her hair and mine, or to take to her mother. We spend several hours there together talking, playing, singing, and sharing. She has a rocking chair that, when I bring it home, she doesn't want to leave the garden, even when it's very sunny. It's as if she inherited my love for nature. I love those grandmother-granddaughter moments, moments that I will always remember, and she will too. Amaya has had a fever for two days. Yesterday they took her to the doctor. It turns out she has some mouth ulcers. She was in a pool on Sunday, her first time in one, and that's probably where the infection came from. It was a small pool at her aunt's house, just her and a cousin of the same age. She's a very healthy girl, she almost never gets sick, but this happened and it has me a little worried. God willing, she'll start to get better today.
