Self-built HF antenna made of metal springs: test results

At first I was skeptical about this idea with the Slinky Dog Antenna , because a toy from a children's store is not very associated with serious radio communication. However, after reading the detailed analysis, I decided to conduct my own experiment in the yard. It turned out that due to the spiral shape of the turns, it is possible to obtain a good inductance with very compact dimensions. The main thing is to securely fasten the springs to the dielectric cord so that they do not sag from their own weight. For the money, this is just a great weekend project that really works on the air.
