Saludos, amigos amantes de las manualidades.💁☀️ ¡Feliz jueves para todos!
Hoy tuve la visita de mis primos pequeños y salimos juntos a disfrutar de una feria que se realizó en la localidad con motivo del cumpleaños de nuestro comandante Fidel Castro Ruz.
Después de disfrutar de la feria, regresamos a casa y, créanme, amigos, el intenso calor que nos acompañó durante el día todavía se hacía sentir.
Ya en la tarde, para mantener a mis primos pequeños activos y entretenidos, quise realizar junto a ellos unos pequeños abanicos coloridos de papel, inspirados en nuestras tradiciones y en esa forma tan sencilla de aliviar el calor, utilizando materiales reciclados.
Los invito, amigos, a acompañarme a conocer el paso a paso de estos útiles y coloridos abanicos. ¡Comencemos!
✨Materiales:
-Cartón reciclado, en este caso una caja que ya no utilizábamos -Papeles de colores -Papel blanco -Tijera -Lápiz -Regla o cartabón -Pegamento elaborado con harina
✨Modo de confección:
Para confeccionar estos abanicos vamos a dividir su elaboración en dos partes: la base, que es la parte superior con la que nos echaremos aire, y el mango, que será el encargado de sostenerla.
En mi caso, para la base utilicé un rectángulo de 18 cm de ancho por 21 cm de largo, aunque podemos adaptar las medidas al tamaño que queramos darle. Con ayuda de una regla o cartabón y un lápiz, trazamos sobre el cartón la medida elegida y luego recortamos la pieza con la tijera.
Para el mango utilicé otra pieza de cartón de 24 cm de largo por 3 cm de ancho. Una vez que tenemos ambas partes recortadas, colocamos el mango en la parte posterior de la base y lo unimos con nuestro pegamento elaborado con harina.
Cuando ya tenemos la estructura formada, podemos dejar el cartón al natural o darle un acabado más uniforme forrándolo con papel blanco. También podríamos utilizar papel maché, pero en esta ocasión preferimos hacerlo de una manera más sencilla, especialmente pensando en que los niños pudieran participar.
Después viene la parte que más disfrutamos: la decoración. Con papeles de diferentes colores fuimos creando flores, corazones, bolitas, listones y otros pequeños diseños, que colocamos sobre nuestros abanicos hasta conseguir el resultado que queríamos.
Y así, reutilizando materiales que ya teníamos en casa, conseguimos crear unos pequeños abanicos coloridos, sencillos y funcionales para echarnos aire.
Bueno, amigos, esta fue una tarde generadora de sonrisas, especialmente para los pequeños, quienes al ver la forma que le fuimos dando a los abanicos terminaron diciendo que parecían una paleta. 😄
Espero que esta idea los motive a realizarla junto a los niños de casa, dejando también que ellos aporten sus propias ideas y creatividad.

Today I had a visit from my young cousins and we went together to enjoy a fair that was held in the community to celebrate the birthday of our Commander Fidel Castro Ruz.
After enjoying the fair, we returned home and, believe me, friends, the intense heat that accompanied us during the day could still be felt.
In the afternoon, to keep my young cousins active and entertained, I wanted to make some small colorful paper fans with them, inspired by our traditions and by that simple way of relieving the heat, using recycled materials.
I invite you, friends, to join me and discover the step-by-step process of making these useful and colorful fans. Let's begin!
✨Materials:
-Recycled cardboard, in this case, a box that we were no longer using -Colored paper -White paper -Scissors -Pencil -Ruler or set square -Glue made with flour
✨How to make them:
To make these fans, we are going to divide the process into two parts: the base, which is the upper part that we will use to fan ourselves, and the handle, which will be used to hold it.
In my case, for the base I used a rectangle measuring 18 cm wide by 21 cm long, although we can adjust the measurements to the size we want to give it. With the help of a ruler or set square and a pencil, we draw the chosen measurements on the cardboard and then cut out the piece with the scissors. For the handle, I used another piece of cardboard measuring 24 cm long by 3 cm wide. Once we have both pieces cut out, we place the handle on the back of the base and attach it with our homemade flour glue.
Once we have the structure assembled, we can leave the cardboard natural or give it a more uniform finish by covering it with white paper. We could also use papier-mâché, but this time we preferred to make it in a simpler way, especially thinking about allowing the children to participate.
Then comes the part we enjoyed the most: decorating. With papers of different colors, we created flowers, hearts, little balls, ribbons, and other small designs, which we placed on our fans until we achieved the look we wanted. And so, by reusing materials we already had at home, we managed to create some small, colorful, simple, and functional fans to cool ourselves down.
Well, friends, this was an afternoon that generated smiles, especially for the little ones, who, when they saw the shape we were giving the fans, ended up saying that they looked like a lollipop. 😄 I hope this idea inspires you to make it together with the children at home, also allowing them to contribute their own ideas and creativity.
