Hello dear Ladies of Hive community,
In a hotel, suitcases are part of the everyday landscape.
They arrive at the entrance, they move through hallways, they rest beside chairs while someone waits, and they disappear again when the time comes to leave.
Over the years, I have seen many people struggle with their luggage.
Some carry large suitcases that seem almost too heavy for them. They stop for a moment, change hands, adjust their grip, and continue walking.
Sometimes I wonder what we pack inside those suitcases besides clothes and personal belongings.
Of course, there are things we need to take with us. Memories, experiences, objects that remind us of people and places we love.

There is a difference between remembering and remaining trapped.

I think maturity is a little like preparing for a trip.
At the beginning of life, we collect many things because we believe we will need them all.
Then, as the years pass, we begin to choose more carefully.
We ask ourselves:
Does this still belong with me?
Does it bring me peace or does it only take up space?
Is this something I want to continue carrying?
Learning to travel lighter does not mean having an empty suitcase.
It means understanding what deserves a place inside it.
Some memories will always stay.
Some lessons are too valuable to leave behind.
But there are also things that have already fulfilled their purpose.
And perhaps one of the greatest gifts of time is learning to leave room for something new.
When I see people leaving the hotel with their suitcases a little lighter after their stay, I think about that.
Maybe life is similar.
We arrive carrying many things.
