Still Life Drawing Of A Pot

Here is my new digital art. This time, I drew from a life objects which is called still life drawing. The object I chose to draw is a pot. It has a cover that fits on it.
You can see the shadow reflecting on the ground cause the light is come from the opposite angle.
I started with outline sketches of the objects before using a combination of hatching, crossing hatching and a few scribbles to add shades. After that, I proceeded in using blurring to add more shades which gave it more dept and in the process, I created the casted shadows too.
Instead of leaving the background blank, I added a design to it.
The sketch was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. My steps can be seen below:
