Hello, @hivefood community! ππ» β βIt's nice to be back here sharing another simple yet delicious recipe with all of you. βΊοΈ Today, I want to show you how to make one easy snack, which is the "Salted Fried Jackfruit Seeds". β¨ β
βI hope you can learn from this simple recipe today. And I hope you can try it too. β βLet's go! ππ» β βIngredients π β
β ββ’ 1 full bowl of jackfruit seeds ββ’ 3-4 cloves garlic ββ’ 2 tablespoons salt ββ’ water (enough to fully submerge the seeds) ββ’ 1/2 cup cooking oil β βProcess π¨π»βπ³ β
β βFirst, wash the jackfruit seeds, then put them in a pot, pour enough water, and bring it to a boil. Let them simmer for about 10 minutes, until the seeds become tender. β
β βWhen they are soft, drain the water and let them cool a little bit. Then peel off the thin, tough outer skin. β
β βAfter that, peel the garlic and slice it thinly. But not too thin that they can burn easily. Just the right thickness to release the garlic flavor while frying. Then, heat some oil in a pan, carefully add the seeds and the sliced garlic. Fry them together, stirring more often, until they turn golden brown. It took me about 10 minutes. β
β βAfterwards, take them out, drain any excess oil, and sprinkle the salt... and toss everything well so every seed and garlic will be seasoned. β βIt's crispy on the outside, kinda soft and nutty inside. And it has a perfect salty garlic flavor. π β
β βIt's so addictive. πβ¨ β βI really hope you like this recipe. And you can also give it a try. If you have jackfruit at home, don't toss the seeds. Save them and make this delicious snack.
I'd love to hear how yours turns out. π₯° β βHappy cooking, everyone! See you next time! ππ»β€οΈ β β@mayt π©·β¨
