Hearing the words of God doesn't truly mean we are listening to it or doing what it preaches. Many people hear the Scriptures regularly but fail to allow God’s message to change their hearts and actions. True listening requires faith, understanding, and a willingness to obey God.
Jesus tells us that we should not ignore the words of God, because his words gives us life and strength. Hearing without obedience can leave our spiritual lives weak when challenges come.
