Psalm 34:7 says, “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.”
God is always ready to guide and direct those who come back to him again. It was clearly stated in the bible that those who commit sin tends to move far away from God. Sin usually separate us from God. Those who sin should not think that because God is merciful means they will always be protected by God and will not face the consequences of their sin.
God doesn't want to abandon sinners, He is alway waiting and giving the chance to repent and come back to him. Sometimes the death of those who sin is delayed so that they can still have the chance to repent again. Through Jesus Christ, sinners can receive forgiveness, salvation, and spiritual protection. Romans 8:1 teaches that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
