About our guest, RoelandP
This week’s guest is someone who has been around Hive since the very beginning. Roelandp is one of those names that has become almost synonymous with the physical side of the Hive community. He is the founder and organizer behind HiveFest, the event that has brought Hive users from all over the world together for years. What started back in the Steem days has grown into one of the community’s biggest traditions, and Roelandp has been the person making much of that happen.
But there is quite a bit more to him than HiveFest. Roelandp is also a long-time Hive witness, running infrastructure and contributing to the technical side of the blockchain, while at the same time building tools and helping keep the community connected. He was involved in the transition from Steem to Hive and even designed the Hive logo we all know today. So when you sit down with someone who has been here since the early days and has had a hand in both the technical and social sides of the ecosystem, there is bound to be a lot to talk about.
