Hi, everyone! Today I’m joining this week’s mural contest, and this time I’m sharing this one from a hamburger restaurant chain called “Rafa’s.” The mural was created by graphic designer and muralist “Alexander Zerpa,” who, along with his team, painted it to be displayed at the entrance of the restaurant. The main character is the brand’s iconic mascot: a bulldog dressed in a very beachy Hawaiian shirt, accompanied by a curious green octopus. In the background, the mural depicts a person windsurfing at sunset, represented by the vibrant colors that fill the sky as evening falls over the beach. All these elements the octopus, the windsurfing, and the sunsets—are fundamental to what best represents life on the island, successfully connecting the brand’s essence with the identity of Margarita Island. To get the whole mural in a single photo, I had to cross the street and take several shots. In the end, you can see some power lines in the background pure urban art, hahaha, but honestly, I liked how they turned out. I hope you do too ❤️

¡Hola a todos! Me sumo hoy al concurso de murales de esta semana, en esta oportunidad les traigo éste que pertenece a una cadena de restaurantes de hamburguesas llamado "Rafa's ". El mural fue realizado por el diseñador gráfico-muralista "Alexander Zerpa" , quien junto a su equipo se encargaron de pintarlo para colocarlo en la entrada del local. El protagonista es la icónica mascota de la marca: un perro bulldog al que vistió con una camisa hawaiana muy playera, junto a un curioso pulpo de color verde como compañero. El mural captura al fondo a una persona practicando windsurf en pleno atardecer, representado por los múltiples colores que se forman en el cielo cuando cae la tarde sobre la playa. Todos estos elementos: el pulpo, el windsurf y los atardeceres son parte fundamental de lo más representativo de la vida en la isla, logrando conectar la esencia de la marca con la identidad de la Isla de Margarita. Para que el mural me saliera completo en una sola foto, tuve que cruzar la calle y hacer varias tomas, al final se ven varios cables del tendido eléctrico, puro arte urbano jajaja, pero honestamente me gustó cómo quedaron, espero que a ustedes también❤️
