Some people do fail to acknowledge that God exists, but God did not still condemn them. From a biblical perspective, the issue is therefore not simply whether someone belongs to a religion, but their relationship with God and their response to Him.
Even with everything God did not tell us to hate people who doesn't have religion. Good believers in Christ are expected to love, show kindness and spread the words of God to those who doesn't believe in God. Christianity teaches that salvation comes through Jesus Christ and that God desires people to turn toward Him.
