Another day of intense work and a good morning walk. I got home at sunset, ready to do the household chores, and as always, there was no electricity.
By nine at night, the power still hadn't come back, so we had to eat cold leftovers from the day before for dinner. Terrible.
No internet and unbearable heat. In the middle of the night, my husband went to sleep on the living room floor; at six in the morning, he left for work, and we still had no electricity. Cubans barely get by.
Despite everything, I keep trying to meet my goals and push through all these hardships. I'm not going to lose hope—someday this nightmare will pass. Blessings 🙏🏾👋🏾🤗

>Otro día de intensa jornada laboral y de una buena caminata en la mañana. Llegué a la casa con la caída del sol, el ocaso, lista para realizar los quehaceres hogareños y como siempre no había electricidad.
>A las nueve de la noche la corriente aún no llegaba por lo que tuvimos que comer la cena fría del sobrante del día anterior. Terrible.
>La internet desaparecida y un calor insoportable. Mi esposo a media madrugada se fue a dormir al piso de la sala, a las seis de la mañana se fue para su trabajo y seguimos sin electricidad. El cubano sobrevive a duras penas.
>A pesar de todo yo continúo tratando de cumplir con mis metas y de sobreponerme a todas estas necesidades. No voy a perder las esperanzas, algún día está pesadilla pasará. Bendiciones 🙏🏾👋🏾🤗
