Noche de Paz - Arreglo para Piano Solo

Greetings, everyone! Today, I’d like to share a piano arrangement of the Christmas carol "Silent Night," as part of our ongoing effort to gradually build the Minueto Scores sheet music repository.
While researching the history and composers of this iconic Austrian carol—written by the priest Joseph Mohr (lyrics) and the schoolteacher and organist Franz Xaver Gruber (music)—I stumbled upon an incredible story. Some of you might already know it, but I’d love to share it anyway:
> On Christmas Eve in 1914, this well-known song became the centerpiece of a truly magical moment. World War I was underway, with British and German troops facing off that December when a miracle happened: the Christmas Truce. It wasn't an official cease-fire ordered by high command, but rather something that sprang up spontaneously and voluntarily among the frontline soldiers of both sides. The Germans placed candles and Christmas trees along their trenches and began singing "Stille Nacht" ("Silent Night"), to which the British responded by joining in. According to accounts, soldiers stepped out of their trenches into No Man's Land to share food, tobacco, drinks, newspapers, and legend has it they even played soccer matches... That night, they didn't just sing "Silent Night"—they lived it.
This Christmas Eve miracle reminds us that we all have the power to choose kindness and to see one another as brothers and sisters.

¡Saludos, comunidad! En esta oportunidad quiero compartir un arreglo para piano del villancico "Noche de Paz", en este intento de ir construyendo de apoco el repositorio de partituras Minueto Scores.
Mientras me documentaba sobre los compositores y la historia de este icónico villancico austriaco compuesto por el sacerdote Joseph Mohr (letra) y por el maestro de escuela y organista Franz Xaver Gruber (música), me topé con una historia increíble que quizás algunos ya la sepan, pero igual me animo a contarla:
> En la Navidad de 1914, un momento mágico tuvo como protagonista a esta conocida canción. Se desarrollaba la Primera Guerra Mundial, ingleses y alemanes se enfrentaban ese diciembre de 1914 cuando un milagro ocurrió, la Tregua de Navidad, no se trató de un alto al fuego ordenado por los altos mandos, sino que nació de forma espontánea y voluntaria entre las tropas rasas de ambos bandos. Los alemanes colocaron velas y árboles de Navidad en las trincheras y comenzaron a cantar "Stille Nacht" ("Noche de Paz"), a lo que los británicos respondieron uniendo sus voces. Los relatos recogidos cuentan que los soldados salieron de sus trincheras y se reunieron en el espacio intermedio donde compartieron comida, tabaco, bebidas, periódicos y hasta cuentan que llegaron a jugar partidos de futbol... Esa noche, no sólo cantaron Noche de Paz, también la vivieron...
Este milagro de Nochebuena nos recuerda que tenemos el poder de decidir de hacer el bien y de mirar al otro como hermano.
