You can find seagulls almost everywhere in coastal cities. They are one of the best motifs for taking photos because you can capture them both as a whole flock and as separate birds.
We had to take the ferry from the port of Büyükada back to Istanbul, and we were quite tired wandering around the island all day.
Still, when I saw these birds, I take out my camera and take some pictures. It was really hard to put my camera down even when we were tired, look at the first picture, and see that the bird is looking at me with such a strange and inquiring look, “What is he looking at?!”
Büyükada is the largest of the Princes’ Islands in the Sea of Marmara near Istanbul. The island offers a coastal holiday with good beaches and local wildlife, including seagulls.
Have you ever been too tired to take pictures, but some sudden thought or a curious animal has given you a new surge of energy?
