When would the day come? When? They wished they could speed up time to get there faster. They were just kids, and they already thought like this. There were four of them: Claudia, Miguel, Erick, and Anner. They were neighbors in the same apartment building. They didn't have a yard to play in, nor many friends; it was just them. They longed to grow up quickly so the day would come when they could form their own band. They had these ideas as children because they watched a lot of television while their parents were out. They watched mostly music, so they loved the idea of being musicians themselves someday. But since they were just kids, they only lived wishing for that day to arrive. You could say that at that moment it was just a game.
But when they were old enough, some of them started studying music at a school, so things were getting serious. Claudia and Anner studied at a school, while Erick and Miguel studied on their own at home after school. After they all got home from school, they would get together to tell each other about their progress. And little by little, their friendship grew stronger, fueled by music. What began as a game started to take shape, and each of them was already thinking about forming a band together once they finished their studies.
It seemed their dream would soon come true, but some things changed drastically. Their parents could no longer live in the apartment building. Some had to move for work, as it was too far away, and others because they wanted more space as their families grew. So, from one day to the next, they went their separate ways. And with that separation went their friendship, their hopes, and, of course, their dreams of forming a band together. Anyone would have said that fate wanted to tear them apart.
Cuando llegaría el día, cuando. Ojalá y se pudiera acelerar el tiempo para llegar más rápido. Eran solo unos niños y ya pensaban así. Ellos eran 4, Claudia, Miguel, Erick y Anner. Eran vecinos en un mismo bloque de apartamentos. No tenían patio para jugar ni tampoco muchos amigos, solo eran ellos. Ellos estaban deseando crecer rápido para que llegara el día en que pudieran formar su propia banda. Tenían esas ideas siendo niños porque veían mucha televisión mientras sus padres no estaban en casa. Veían sobre todo música, así que les encantaba la idea de ellos poder ser músicos también en el futuro. Pero como eran solo niños solo vivían deseando que llegara ese día. Se puede decir que en ese momento solo era un juego.
Pero cuando tuvieron edad suficiente algunos de ellos comenzaron a estudiar música en una escuela, así que la cosa iba en serio. Claudia y Anner estudiaron en una escuela mientras Erick y Miguel estudiaban de forma autodidacta en la casa luego de las clases. Luego de todos llegar de la escuela se juntaban para contar sus progresos a los demás. Y poco a poco su amistad se fue fortaleciendo con la música como motor principal. Lo que comenzó como un juego empezaba a tomar forma y cada uno ya pensaba en ser parte de una misma banda cuando terminaran de prepararse en los estudios.
Parecía que su sueño se cumpliría pronto, pero algunas cosas cambiaron radicalmente. Los padres de cada uno no podían seguir viviendo en el bloque de apartamentos. Algunos debían mudarse por trabajo, ya que les quedaba muy lejos y otros porque querían más espacio ya que la familia crecía. Así que de un día para otro cada uno se separó. Y con esa separación se fue su amistad, sus ilusiones y claro los sueños de formar una banda juntos. Cualquiera hubiera dicho que el destino quería separarlos.

Once they separated, each went their separate ways. Their parents moved far away, so they were all separated. They all continued in music, but had to accept reality and look for other bands and groups. They were never able to stay in touch again. Each went their own way; Claudia continued as a singer and guitarist, and the others as a drummer, bassist, and pianist. They were able to advance quite a bit in their careers and it can be said that they had moderate success. Although they were happy with what each of them achieved, none of them were truly happy after the separation.
They suffered greatly from the absence of each other, and it greatly diminished their motivation to continue. Some of them even came close to quitting music. But they fought and were able to continue, even though they weren't very happy. They were able to tolerate that situation for a while, but little by little it became unbearable. From afar, they all wondered what their lives would be like if they were together again. They longed for it more than anything in the world. But the moment came when longing was no longer enough; it was time to take action.
Claudia was the first to take action to reunite the group. She left her band and began the search. After searching extensively on social media, she discovered that Erick was living in another country. She used her contacts to find his phone number and was finally able to locate him after so long. Erick was overjoyed and agreed with her that it was time to start over and pursue their dream. He returned to his former country to see Claudia. Once together, they began searching for the other members. The others were more difficult to find since they weren't as visible. But after months of searching, they were able to locate everyone.
Una vez que se separaron cada uno tomó caminos distintos. Sus padres se mudaron muy lejos, así cada uno quedó separado. Todos continuaron en la música, pero tuvieron que aceptar la realidad y buscar otras bandas y grupos. No pudieron mantenerse en contacto nunca más. Cada uno seguió por su lado, Claudia siguió como cantante y guitarrista y lo demás fueron baterista, bajista y pianista. Pudieron avanzar bastante en sus carreras y se puede decir que tuvieron un éxito moderado. Aunque estaban contentos con lo que cada uno consiguió ninguno de ellos fue feliz después de la separación.
Sufrieron mucho la ausencia de cada amigo y les quitó mucho la motivación para continuar. Incluso algunos de ellos estuvieron a punto de abandonar la música. Pero lucharon y pudieron continuar a pesar de que no era muy felices. Pudieron tolerar esa situación por un tiempo pero poco a poco se hizo inaguantable. Todos en la distancia se preguntaban como sería sus vidas si estuvieran juntos de nuevo. Lo añoraban más que nada en el mundo. Pero llegó el momento en que añorar ya no era suficiente, era momento de pasar manos a la acción.
Claudia fue la primera en poner manos a la obra para reunir al grupo de nuevo. Dejó su banda y comenzó la búsqueda. Luego de buscar mucho en redes sociales descubrió que Erick vivía en otro país. Buscó su numero de teléfono gracias a sus contactos y pudo dar con el luego de tanto tiempo. Para Erick fue una gran alegría y concordó con ella que era el momento de recomenzar y seguir su sueño. Erick regresó al país donde antes vivía para verse con Claudia. Una vez juntos empezaron al búsqueda de los demás miembros. Los demás fueron más difíciles de encontrar ya que no eran tan visibles. Pero luego de meses de búsqueda pudieron dar con todos.

When they were all finally together, they felt happy; they had defied the fate that had separated them. Through tears, they formed the band AVE and swore they would never be apart again. After reuniting, they began making music on a grand scale and became very successful. No one knows their story, no one knows what they went through; they are only known as they are now. But now you know too: fate can be overcome, or perhaps it can even be proven that such a thing doesn't exist. You are the only one who sets your limits. AVE came far because of their passion, and now they will go even further, but this time because of their love for music. Friends united will never be defeated.
Cuando todos pudieron estar juntos por fin se sintieron felices, le habían dado una cachetada al destino que los había separado. Llorando crearon la banda AVE, y juraron que jamás se separarían de nuevo. Después de la unión comenzaron a hacer música a lo grande y fueron muy exitosos. Nadie conoce su historia, nadie sabe por lo que pasaron, solo los conocen tal y como son ahora. Pero ahora ustedes también los saben, el destino puede ser vencido, o quizás hasta se puede demostrar que tal cosa no existe. Solo tu te pones los limites. AVE llegó lejos por su pasión y ahora llegará aún más lejos pero por su amor por la música. Amigos unidos jamás serán vencidos.
