I will lean towards the "repair to my liking" team. The effort of transforming a big, beautiful house into my dream home is really enticing. I will enjoy the process of renovating and customizing it to fit my style and needs.

The lower price point of the older house would also give me a financial reserve to invest in repairs and remodeling. I will see it as an opportunity to add value to the property and make it truly mine.
Though the small, ready-to-move-in house might be convenient, but it doesn't give the same level of excitement and creativity. I will potentially feel limited by its smaller size and lack of modification options.
Buying the "repair to my liking will help me create the space to my preferences and needs.With renovations, I could increase the property's value over time. I will feel overwhelmed of transforming a neglected house into my dream home.
Although Renovations can be time-consuming and stressful and there's always a risk of unexpected issues or expenses during the renovation process.
Finally, the "repair to my liking" approach agrees with my personality, and I will be excited to take on the challenge of transforming a beautiful but neglected house into my perfect home.
