Makina Sea Log : Aug 3, 2026

it's been a day or two since my last log entry.

We had had blue skies and fair winds during the couple of weeks during the Admiral's last East Coast Tour. It is hard to imagine so much good sailing to be had from such a marvelous Bay, which is Mahone Bay.

A doctor's appointment coincided perfectly with the Admiral's customary two week tours. On July 14th we made our way ashore; to Halifax for me and Ottawa for the Admiral.

The next couple of weeks was spent with my Daughter and Son-In-Common-Law in Halifax. It was a productive two weeks by getting some shore chores checked off the list as well as being able to lay back and relax as well. Lots of gaming, movie streaming, wheel of time reading and ordered in yummy-ness.

With rumors of another Admiral's Tour in the making it seemed right to get back to Makina to make ready. The passage being passed about in whatsapp was to put our toes in the Fundy. My Son-In-Common-Law, graciously, drove me to the town of Mahone Bay on July 29th.

The Admiral should be free for travel on Aug 5th; so hoping for departure down the South Shore towards Yarmouth on or about Aug 6th or the 7th.

Stay tuned for, hopefully, more regular updates.

May the wind be at your back! A listing of my sailing posts
