After a wonderfully relaxing night off Snake Island and with showers forecasted for later the next day, the decision was made to stay on for another day.

Dug in deeply into the new fantasy series which was found on my Kobo Reader by Steven Erikson, with snacks, naps and gaming added on top.
The next morning had the first northerly wind that had shown this season. Just as if it had been ordered it had me on a starboard tack for most of the way back to my mooring ball at the Mahone Bay Civic Marina.

The passage to Snake Island and back left me feeling empowered to consider other passages regardless if crew were available or not.
The northerly wind brought home the fact that the season was ready to wind down. The diesel heater ensured that it could be pushed into the fall for me; yet arrangements should start to be made about seeing about Makina for the winter months.
Watching the slightly waned Full Moon rising from the Mahone Bay Civic Marina made it seem a decision which could wait for Monday.
In the meantime it seemed right to lay back and enjoy the view. ✌️ 😎
