Aprendiendo sobre aves rapaces | Learning about raptor birds

Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un nuevo post bastante genial, está vez de un nuevo set de fotos que me tomé hace unos días en el pasillo de la escuela donde estudió con unas aves. Algo que adoro de mi universidad es que muchas veces ocurren cosas chéveres, y ahora que estamos en meses donde se acercan las elecciones estudiantiles, aún más. En esta ocasión en la escuela de la carrera que estudio, realizaron una exhibición de aves rapaces muy genial dónde aprendimos como se desenvuelven en la naturaleza, su historia y como todo eso tiene relación con la carrera que estudio. Las aves que mostraron ese día fueron a Sol, un águila Harris, luna, una lechuza y a Ares, un gavilán. Las tres aves estaban entrenadas y eran muy tranquilas, solo había que tener mucho cuidado con sus garras, cada una de estas especies tiene su historia y fueron rescatadas de momentos donde su vida podía correr cierto peligro, y en la fundación llamada "Garras del Sol" las cuidan adecuadamente.
Realmente disfruté mucho de la charla, me encantan los animales y que sean de la vida silvestre no quita que sean sumamente maravillosos. Gracias a mi trabajo he podido tener contacto con muchos animales geniales, eso sí, con extremo cuidado porque sino pueden pasar accidentes. Hay que tenerles mucho respeto a los animales que conviven con nosotros, ya que incluso los perezosos pueden ser peligrosos debido a sus garras, pero aún así hay que protegerlos porque conviven con nosotros en la naturaleza. Me puse tomar fotos con las aves, fui muy curiosa en la actividad preguntando muchas cosas y nos permitieron tocarlas y tomarnos fotos. Estas son algunas que me logré tomar, son improvisadas y naturales dónde disfruté al máximo de estar cerca de animales tan hermosos, espero que les guste!
Hello again! Today I’m come to you with another really cool post, this time featuring a new set of photos I took a few days ago in the hallway of the school where I study, with some birds. One thing I love about my university is that cool things happen all the time, and now that we’re in the months leading up to the student elections, even more so. This time, at the school where I’m studying, they held a really cool exhibition of birds of prey where we learned how they behave in nature, their history, and how all of that relates to my major. The birds they showed that day were Sol, a Harris’s hawk, Luna, an owl, and Ares, a sparrowhawk. All three birds were trained and very calm; you just had to be very careful of their talons. Each of these species has its own story and was rescued from situations where their lives were in danger, and at the foundation called “Garras del Sol,” they’re being properly cared for.
I really enjoyed the talk I love animals, and just because they’re wild doesn’t mean they aren’t absolutely wonderful. Thanks to my job, I’ve been able to interact with many amazing animals, though always with extreme caution, because accidents can happen otherwise. We must have great respect for the animals that share our environment, since even sloths can be dangerous because of their claws, but we still need to protect them because they coexist with us in nature. I started taking photos with the birds; I was very curious during the activity and asked a lot of questions, and they let us touch them and take photos. Here are a few I managed to take, they’re candid and natural shots where I really enjoyed being close to such beautiful animals, I hope you like them!
