Being good at something is important, but sometimes it’s not enough.

U also need to know how to communicate, adapt, learn, and show people what u can do. A great skill that nobody knows about may not create many opportunities. That’s why I think we should focus on both skill and visibility. Keep improving what u do, but also learn how to present ur work, connect with people, and create value. Being good gets u started.
