"Bisola! Bisola!"

She won't answer until I call her for the third time. Mama Bisola said.

"Bisola!!!!" I screamed again and again.

"Maaaaa!" Bisola shouted as if she was awakened from the deepest stagnancy.

"Ha ha ha! You can see what you are doing to me. I called you to come and carry the food that we are going to eat this evening. Why are you so lazy, Bisola?" Mama Bisola said.

Bisola responded, "I answered, Mummy. I answered." With a sweet provoking voice.

Immediately, Mama Bisola said, "Until I called you three times, that was when you anwered."

Immeiately, Mama Bisola told her to take the pounded yam to the dining area and place on the dining table. She went into the house and again told her to get the table ready so that they could eat.

Soon Baba Bisola came in. Immediately, Bisola ran to greet him. "Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" Bisola loved her daddy. Mama Bisola also went to where her husband was, immediately telling Bisola to collect his bag as they geted each other.

Baba Bisola said, "My dear, I saw this purple gown at a boutique today and it was lovely. Try it on, my dear wife."

She immediately gave a smile. "You never cease to amaze me. Thanks, my love." She went in to try the dress on.

Atmosphere changes... Bisola started to frown her face.

"Daddy, what about me?"

Daddy Bisola immediately brought out a storybook which contains letters from her father to daugher. "Your favourite... Dear Bisola."

"He he hey... Thank you, Daddy!"

Attmosphere changes... They were all happy!

Bisola's mum, Mrs. Aderibigbe, commonly called Iya Bisola in Yoruba language, told her to call her dad to the dining room.

---

One day, Bisola ran out of the house trying to avoid cooking chores. Her mother called after her, but she pretended not to hear.

"She pretended and went to visit a friend" her mother muttered...

Later that evening, Mr. Aderibigbe returned home and found his wife looking troubled. "What is it, my dear?" he asked.

"It's that girl. She never listens until I call her several times. Today, she ran out just to avoid helping in the kitchen."

Mr. Aderibigbe sighed and pulled his wife close. "You are too patient with her." They hugged each other and shared a brief moment where their eyes locked towards one another.

"Sometimes I just want to look at you all day. Your beauty is enough to quench my sorrow. Your smile lifts my soul and your advice leads us aright."

"Ha haaa, Mr. Aderibigbe. You and your sweet words..."

Soon they all continued with their chores.

---

Soon Bola came in. "Mama! Papa! I am home!" They didn't even budge. Mama Aderibigbe was already boiling. Although, they used to be sweet parents to her especially when she comes back home.

"Mum! Dad! I am home!" They didn't budge again. They pretended as if they didn't notice their little daughter's call.

After a while, she went to meet her mum, holding her. "Mum, I am home."

That was when Mum answered, "How are you, my daughter? How was you sudden dissapearance today?"

She said, "It was interesting. Infact, I help bisoala with truck full house hold chores...

Mama bisola said "You did what!!!"

Hmmm! She signed to her husband.

You know those long stears that tells someone, something is not right.

Bisola didn't decode and went to greet her dad before taking a shower.

Her mum, as usual, called her once. She wanted to direct her to the location of her lunch. But since she has the habit of not hearing until three times, she didn't respond.

Later on, she came to meet her mum. "Mama, I am hungry." However, her mum had gone out for a meeting with her friends. She didn't know what to eat for dinner. She went to meet her dad too.

"Daddy! Daddy!" Her dad didn't even budge.

"Why is everyone not answering? Daddy, do you know where Mum kept my food?"

"Food!" Her dad responded. "I don't know, but I knew she called you earlier."

"Oh! Yes, she did! But I didn't..."

"Hmm! You didn't hear her, or you chose not to? Wait for your mum to be back. She should be back soon."

---

Barely after an hour, she went to her dad. "Dad, Mummy isn't back yet. Can you order from KFC, please?"

Her dad pretended as if he didn't know wha KFC was.

"What is KFC?" Dad said.

"Why are you like this, Dad?" She couldn't bear it.

She ran back to her room. She was probably thinking where she had made a mistake.

"Why is everyone so mean to me?" she screamed!
