Good evening. I seem to have a knack for attracting very small birds to my house to be fed. This young bird is still small and has been coming around for several days; it only leaves to sleep. Of course, since we feed it, it has gotten used to us and knows the way back. I don't know who it belongs to, but it’s getting quite big now.

Some people keep many animals but don't look after them properly—which defeats the purpose, since the animals need to be fed. But the worst part is that we raise them, and then, once they’re fully grown and come back home, they get caught, tied up, and eaten or locked in cages; that’s why there’s a popular Venezuelan saying: "No one knows for whom they are working." Here, I gave it some cracked corn, and it ate quite a bit.

Agradecida de su visita y apoyo.
