Dry season seems to be fast approaching over here

Rain has been falling non stop for a long time now and most mornings are welcomed with intensive rainfall. This does not stop anyone from going to anybody his or her business or workplace.
Beautiful day
I woke up this beautiful morning to see the sunrise and it was definitely a very good feeling to know the day is bright. I turned on my bed lazily and when I realized that time had gone being that I had overslept.
I was supposed to get to the pharmacy today to get some drugs and travel to another local government in order for me to sought some things out with my younger sister.
My local food
I jumped up from my bed and rushed to the kitchen where I went to cook my local food called ekpang. Before I finished cooking, I rushed to brush my teeth and after brushing my teeth, my food was ready and I dished out a good amount and ate to my satisfaction.
After eating, I took my drugs which was given to me at the health center. I am also visiting a family member who just gave birth to a new baby after so many years of waiting for the fruit of the womb.
The day really looks incredibly bright and very beautiful. It is also very warm and looking pleasant. We can hear the cockcrow and the birds chirping sweetly in the trees around this environment.
Knowing that the weather is bright gives so many people reasons to believe that the dry season which is fast approaching will be beautiful.
My mother who is a waterleaf farmer, had paused planting simply because of the frequent rainfall and she is not the only person that paused planting waterleaf because the heavy rain was killing the waterleaf and washing the surface of the soil.
Although I love the rainy season but most times the dry season comes with its own sweetness. Everyone seems to be happy because this is the period that the heavy rain will begin to subside paving way for the dry season. In all, I am just happy that today is fine and the dey season is finally approaching.
