Lately, I've been painting several murals in a couple of areas of Caracas, Venezuela. This has helped me keep my painting skills sharp, as I have a community art project proposal to celebrate the cultural identity of Guarenas, the city where I was born and have lived ever since. Through a series of murals, I will use graphic storytelling to bring the identity of a town that has been forgotten by generations into the present day. I would like this new generation living in Guarenas to develop a sense of ownership of the area and for us to foster greater collective and cultural harmony. Últimamente he estado realizando varios murales en un par de zonas de la ciudad de Caracas, en Venezuela; esto me ha servido para mantener activas las habilidades en la pintura, ya que tengo una propuesta de proyecto artístico comunitario desarrollado para enaltecer la identidad cultural de la ciudad de Guarenas que es donde nací y he residido hasta la actualidad. A través de una serie de murales pictóricos usare la narrativa grafica para traer a la contemporaneidad la identidad de un pueblo que ha quedado en el olvido generacional, y me gustaría que esta nueva generación que reside en la actual ciudad de Guarenas pueda adoptar el sentido de propiedad por la zona y generemos un avance en la armonía colectiva y cultural.
In my 32 years living in Guarenas, I've never done any artistic work for the community or to beautify the city streets. This led me to want to develop this mural project; but while I wait for approval from the municipal authorities, I need to continue honing my skills. For that reason, I decided to paint a mural in my bedroom to practice and give my living space a fresh look. En mis 32 años viviendo en Guarenas, nunca he realizado una acción artística para la comunidad, o para embellecer un poco las calles de la ciudad, eso me llevo a querer desarrollar ese proyecto artístico muralista; pero mientras ese proyecto es aceptado por las autoridades del municipio necesito seguir puliendo mis habilidades. Por esa razón decidí realizar un mural en mi habitación para ir practicando y así le doy una renovación al espacio que habito.
I have leftover paint from several murals I've done, so I wanted to use it to paint something beautiful. I use my room as a creative studio. I recently moved the bed out, keeping only the mattress to have more free space, but I don't have a window, which makes the room feel like a sauna. I'll have air conditioning soon, but the lack of a window made me want to paint one where I can appreciate a unique and beautiful landscape. Me ha sobrado pintura de varios murales que he realizado y por eso quise aprovechar el material para pintar algo bonito; mi habitación la uso como estudio de creación, hace poco saque la cama, solo conservo el colchón para tener más espacio libre, pero no tengo ventana, eso hace que el interior sea un sauna, pronto tendré mi aire acondicionado. pero el hecho de no tener ventana me hizo querer pintar una en la que pueda apreciar un paisaje único y hermoso.

I wanted to paint a striking landscape, one that would evoke a psychological impact on anyone who visits and sees the mural, just as my username suggests. So I decided to depict a landscape from the Dragon Ball anime, specifically the atmosphere of Planet Namek (Piccolo's home planet). Anyone who's a fan of the series will recognize the place instantly. Quería pintar un paisaje impactante, que cuando una persona me visite y vea el mural le genere una conmoción psicológica, así como mi user name lo manifiesta. Así que decidí hacer una representación de un paisaje que aparece en el anime dragón ball, específicamente la representación de la atmosfera que hay en el planeta "Namek" (planeta de origen del personaje Piccolo) quien sea fan de la serie, reconocerá el lugar al instante.

Every day my love for alchemy, transmutation, and the power of creation grows stronger. I truly love what I do; it fills me with joy to see the results of my creative processes and how, step by step, I'm gaining more confidence on this path I've chosen as an artist. I'm going to see if I can paint a couple more murals in my backyard to keep practicing in the coming days. I hope you enjoyed this experience. Cada día crece más mi amor por la ALQUIMIA, la trasmutación. el poder de la creación, de verdad amo lo que hago, me llena de felicidad ver el resultado de mis procesos creativos y como paso a paso voy con más seguridad avanzando en este camino que me he trazado como artista; voy a ver si realizo un par de murales más en el patio de la casa para seguir practicando en la proximidad de los días.
