Acostúmbrate a que no puedes controlar todo, a que habrá cosas que van a pasar sin merecerlas, a que la vida cambia los planes de un día pa' otro sin preguntar. Pero también acostúmbrate a regresar siempre a tu paz, a enojarte con el destino pero también darle el beneficio de la duda, acostúmbrate a perdonar, soltar y agradecer, para que entonces lo que venga tenga espacio para llegar. Nadie sabe si lo mejor está por venir, pero a mí me gusta creer eso, y con eso me basta para empezar de cero las veces que hagan falta y seguir intentándolo.

Get used to the fact that you can’t control everything, that some things will happen without you deserving them, and that life can change your plans from one day to the next without asking for permission. But also get used to always finding your way back to your peace, to being angry with destiny while still giving it the benefit of the doubt. Get used to forgiving, letting go, and being grateful, so that whatever comes next has room to arrive. No one knows if the best is yet to come, but I like to believe it is. And that’s enough for me to start over as many times as necessary and keep trying.
