Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.

Alright, time for another #Splinterlands card spotlight!

Today I’m looking at a card that I actually find pretty interesting because it does something that a lot of cards don't really do.

The card I'm talking about is, Dalthin Ironhood.

Dalthin Ironhood is an Epic Fire unit, and at level 6, which is the max level, it comes with some pretty useful stats and 3 abilities.

Here are the stats:

Mana Cost: 7

Ranged Attack: 3

Health: 6

Speed: 4

Armor: 5

And the abilities are:

Weapons Training: Gives attack type and power to adjacent no-attack units.

Immunity: Provides immunity to magic debuffs and Cripple.

Redemption: When defeated, deals 1 physical damage to all enemy units.

And honestly, that first ability is what makes this card really interesting.

So looking at the stats first, Dalthin costs 7 mana, which isn't exactly cheap.

But you do get a pretty decent package for those 7 mana.

The 3 ranged attack is solid.

The 5 armor is probably the stat that caught my attention the most.

And then there is 6 health.

It's not an enormous amount of health, but combined with 5 armor, Dalthin can actually take a decent number of physical hits before going down.

The speed is also okay at 4.

Not super fast, but definitely not painfully slow either.

So overall, I think the stats are pretty balanced.

But the abilities are where things get much more interesting.

Weapons Training: Gives attack type and power to adjacent no-attack units.

Let's start with Weapons Training.

This ability gives attack type and power to adjacent units that normally have no attack.

And this can be REALLY interesting when you build your team around it.

You know those support cards that have great abilities but just sit there doing nothing because they don't have an attack?

Well, Dalthin can basically turn those units into attackers.

That's a pretty cool concept.

Instead of having a completely passive support unit sitting next to Dalthin, you can potentially give it some offensive power.

This means your lineup can have both utility and extra damage at the same time.

Of course, you need to position the cards correctly.

Weapons Training depends heavily on adjacency, so placement matters a lot.

You can't just throw Dalthin anywhere and expect the ability to work perfectly.

Immunity: Provides immunity to magic debuffs and Cripple.

The second ability is Immunity.

Dalthin gets immunity to magic debuffs and Cripple.

This is another nice defensive ability.

Magic debuffs can be annoying because they can weaken your units or interfere with their effectiveness.

Cripple is also a problem because it reduces a unit's maximum health.

So having Immunity means Dalthin doesn't have to worry about those effects.

It can just keep doing its job.

And I think this works pretty well with the overall design of the card.
