Hello, 'Slightly Furious' guys! It is a pleasure to be here with you again to share a very unpleasant moment. I am, so to speak, disappointed, a little angry, in the sense that I had previously told you that my son had bought me a fan. Well, guys, it turns out that the fan was working very well the first few days, but after a week, the fan started acting up.
The fan has two modes: one can be recharged with electricity and the other with a solar panel. When I recharge it by electricity, the charge lasted three hours at first. Later, I realized that it was decreasing and now, less than 15 days after purchasing it, the charge only lasts an hour, and I leave the charger charging for eight hours!
Also, I said, 'Well, okay, it doesn't charge me completely with electricity, let's use the solar panel.' What is my surprise? If I use the solar panel, it also lasts an hour. Later I found out from a neighbor who has the same fan, and it turns out that she told me: 'Mrs. Rosa, what you have to do is grab the fan, place the solar panel on the roof that receives the sun, and place it so that it gives you breeze.' Well, it turns out that my bed is very far from the door; Now, to put the solar panel on the roof to grab the sun's energy, I have to roll the bed so the fan can blow on me!
But that's not the worst. The worst thing is that the fan was bought with a specific function: to blow me every time we spend 7 or 8 hours without electricity. Very good, during the day it can work with the solar panel because I put the bed up, I place myself near the door and the panel receives energy from the sun; but that's only during the day. When the electricity goes out at night, during all that time it doesn't work for me to have the panel on the roof because the sun goes somewhere else🤦♀️ and I am left without receiving air.
I told my son the situation I was experiencing with the ventilator. I know that it is not his fault because he made all the sacrifice to pamper me, so that his dad and I would be very relaxed while there are these continuous power outages daily. And my son told me that he is going to look for the fan's warranty and is going to take it to the place where he bought it, to see what answers they give my son and if the fan is damaged or if the fan only fulfills that function. Just like that: the panel does not last more than two hours if it is not at ceiling height receiving sun and the battery only lasts one hour of charging. My son is going to find out that and I hope that by next week I can count on a fan to blow me through these days of excessive, uncontrolled and horrible rationing: eight hours a day without electricity.
A regrettable situation in a country full of resources.

Bueno, muchachos, resulta que el ventilador los primeros días funcionaba muy bien, pero después de la semana, el ventilador empezó a echar broma.
El ventilador tiene dos modalidades: una se puede recargar con electricidad y la otra con un panel solar. Cuando lo recargo por electricidad, la carga me duraba tres horas al principio. Más adelante, me di cuenta de que iba disminuyendo y ahora, en menos de 15 días de comprado, la carga me dura apenas una hora, ¡y eso que dejo el cargador cargando durante ocho horas!
Además, yo dije: 'Bueno, está bien, no me carga completo con electricidad, vamos a utilizar el panel solar'. ¿Cuál es mi sorpresa? Que si uso el panel solar, también me dura una hora. Después averigüé con una vecina que tiene el mismo ventilador, y resulta que ella medijo: 'Señora Rosa, usted lo que tiene que hacer es agarrar el ventilador, colocar el panel solar en el techo que reciba sol y colocarlo para que le dé brisa'. Bueno, resulta que mi cama queda muy distanciada de la puerta; ahora, para colocar el panel solar en el techo y que agarre la energía del sol, ¡tengo que rodar la cama para que el ventilador me pueda soplar!
Pero eso no es lo peor. Lo peor es que el ventilador se compró con una función específica: que me sople cada vez que pasamos 7 u 8 horas sin electricidad. Muy bien, en el día me puede funcionar con el panel solar porque arrimo la cama, me coloco cerca de la puerta y el panel recibe la energía del sol; pero eso es solo durante el día. Cuando se va la electricidad en la noche, durante en todo ese tiempo no me funciona tener el panel en el techo porque el sol se va a otro sitio🤦♀️ y yo me quedo sin recibir aire.
Le dije a mi hijo la situación que estaba presentando con el ventilador. Yo sé que no es culpa de él porque él hizo todo el sacrificio para consentirme, para que su papá y yo estuviéramos bien relajados mientras haya estos continuos cortes eléctricos diariamente. Y mi hijo me dijo que va a buscar la garantía del ventilador y lo va a llevar al sitio donde lo compró, para ver qué respuestas le dan ellos a mi hijo y si es que el ventilador viene dañado o es que el ventilador cumple solamente esa función. Así nada más: el panel no dura más de dos horas si no está a la altura del techo recibiendo sol y la pila solamente dura una hora de carga. Mi hijo va a averiguar eso y espero que para la próxima semana ya pueda contar con un ventilador que me sople durante estos días de racionamiento desmedido, descontrolado y horribles: cada día ocho horas diariamente sin electricidad.
Una situación lamentable en un país lleno de recursos.
