But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman… To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons” [Galatians 4:.4 – 5].
The devil’s power over humanity could not have been destroyed if God had not taken on human form to die for our sins. Through His sacrificial death, Jesus liberated us from the fear of death and eternal condemnation. The scriptures says, "…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil" [John 3: 8].
Jesus endured the path that led to His death in order to fulfill the law and set us free from sin, death and eternal condemnation. As christians, we are no longer under the bondage of fear like the unbeliever.
Physical death is no longer a threat but a pathway into a better life. Jesus has conquered death, giving us hope beyond the grave. That is why He said we should not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul… fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” [Matthew 10:28].
This hope is made available to all who accept Jesus through faith. You can become part of God’s family today by depending in Christ alone: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” [John 1: 12].
